These books are really helping my son learn to read and to break down letter sounds and put them together to form words. He is only four years old and just started with these books a few weeks ago and is already able to read all of them and is starting to read words out of regular books. I will definitely continue with the rest of the bob books. It was a very good investement in my son and my daughter's future.

My son is on the 2nd set of books. My daughter is younger and felt left out and kept asking if she can start reading as well. She was not ready to read, so I purchased the book initially so she wouldn’t feel left out. I ended up loving these books as a way to reinforce the letter sounds, teach her how to recognize the title of a book, and to just feel comfortable with what’s to come in reading.

These came highly recommend to me as we learn letters and sounds and are starting to read. It’s very different from any other books we have. Fun to ready! My 2 year old likes holding the small books and likes putting them in alphabetical order.

These are the best books I've found for my daughter to sound everything out on her own. It uses the primary sounds of the letters and basic words for early readers.

I’ve used these bob books with two kids already and am collecting more early ones for my little one. Excellent system for exposing books to little ones and beginning reading skills early. Great improvement from the old hooked on phonics system. Simple pictures are helpful but not distracting.

Good idea to introduce alphabet - albeit a very short sentence story for two letters per book. Our version was missing the letters I and J.

I don't know what it is about these books, but they work. They are only simple little books, but the choice of language is perfect for teaching little ones to read. It worked for my two children. The books are tiny and numbered and the children enjoy putting them in order and keeping them in the little box. The other levels are very good too.

Good book to teach alphabets to children with out them getting bored. Good book price is bit higher...

I am currently using these books for my 3 year old. She is in love with these books. I love the simple stories and my daughter actually memorizes the stories and reads to me. I waited so long to purchase these books!! I once thought that they would be too simple. When teaching reading I now believe sometimes simple and silly are the best way to go with young children. When I say simple and silly, I do not mean ridiculous words with no sense. These teach correct sounds, words and even phonics etc....I highly recommend!!!

Return policy didn't work.. customer care said they will return it but they didn't .my money got wasted
