I am using this wall plate with Monoprice 100ft 14AWG CL2 Rated 2-Conductor Loud Speaker Cable (For In-Wall Installation) and Mediabridge Banana Plugs.I love the organization that this wall plate provides, as well as the look of a professional installation. It is easy to either insert wires into the holes and twist down or insert banana plugs to connect the speaker wires. I like that you have both options.This is a nice wall plate at a great price with plenty of connectivity.

It’s a great way to complete your home theater. It does seem a bit bendy though. If it was stiffer and secured better I’d love it 1 star more. But ultimately I’d recommend it. It’s a good product.

Great looking wall plate that really cleaned up my audio/video cables. All of the wires and cables were fished in my walls and into a built in cabinet. I could have just bought a wall plate with a large hole in it to save a few bucks but the plate really adds that extra touch making it look very professional. The plate comes ready to accept a 6.1 configuration which includes the Front Left, Front Right, Center, Surround Left, Surround Right, Rear Surround, and Sub Woofer. In addition, you can hook up 2 HDMI cables.Tip: You will need to remove the 6 screws on the wall plate which releases the left, center, and right panel. Those 3 panels will be screwed to the low voltage 3 gang bracket, then you screw the front plate back on.I used the following 3 gang low voltage bracket - OnQ / Legrand AC101003 3Gang Low Voltage Bracket, RetrofitPROS:Clean plate that looks professional when installed.The banana plugs are high quality and the plugs glide in smoothly.The HDMI port supports Ethernet through HDMI.CONS:A few of the banana posts were loose upon arrival. This was easily fixed with a pair of pliers but it should have arrived that way.

Works great….just what I needed

Took a good amount of force to get the RCA cables to go in, but other than that it went together well. Nice looking wall plate and I haven't noticed any degradation in signal. I have a 4khdr + dolby atmos signal running through this with 20' cables on one side going to my receiver and 6' cables on the other.

For what it is, it is amazing. Makes connecting my surround sound simple and less confusing. No more having to figure out what wires are what. Everything is right there on the plates. Thank you for making an easy to install audio organizer lol. I love it. Connections are tight but not hard to connect to. Hdmi pass through is top notch.

This plate was straight to the point and made my home theatre connections so much easier to manage now that I can just plug the receiver right into the jacks. Cable management is now done behind the wall! I can't speak for the quality of the HDMI ports because in my installation, I was running HDMI elsewhere and used this opening for a 6-port Keystone plate which I then used for CAT6a network ports. I only mention it because there might be a use case for someone wanting to swap the included HDMI ports for something else that works better in their situation. Without any issue, this can be done as long as you get a standard Keystone plate. The HDMI plate can easily be unscrewed and a different plate can be installed just as quickly.Now, the reason I removed a star from this review is because the subwoofer jacks were not good on the item I received. After installing everything and mounting it to the wall, I plugged in a subwoofer cable and was immediately hit with a constant bass signal coming out of my woofer. Since my receiver was off, I knew it wasn't coming from any specific source. I removed the wall plate and noticed that the subwoofer jack had broken on the inside and the inner plastic plug was pushed through to the back. This was causing the subwoofer signal pin to touch the ground, thus shorting the cable. I moved the cable over to the second jack and it immediately broke that one as well.I decided not to the return the plate because I had some extra RCA keystones and just simply removed the jacks from those and installed them in this wall plate. There were no more breaking issues after that. So keep an eye on the sub jacks if you buy this product as the plastic looked a bit brittle and may break over time if not right away.
