Can this stand hold an engine alone? Specifically a V6 engine.

Yes there is a four arm system that bolts directly to the back of the block with the head assembly

Would this Engine Dolly  work on a in-line six jeep engine.

Typically we would ask for a measurement from the back of the engine surface to the engine mount location on 6 cyl. engine just to be sure as some have side mounts and others mount under the Harmonic balancer. Yes we can do that    We would need your complete ship to address to check the best method to ship directly to you     The unit ships in a 36 x 12 x 12 carton at 75 pounds     We can do ocean freight or Airfreight      If you have a preferred method or shipping company please let us know

I also wanted to let you know that the caster sets shown on the Easy Run Engine Test Stands in the Professional and Shop Series are a Polyurethane Wheel and A Steel Hub center. These are a more expensive caster the what is shown on the Custom Series Engine Run Stands and the Engine Dolly's.
