Ullo Works like a charm!
So, I'm a skeptic and have to question everything, so with testing many times--these folders absolutely DO work! This is a game changer for the red wine lover who happens also to be sensitive to sulfites! There is no doubt that it adds to the total cost of your wine--pricey-- and takes time to use, but with patience, it's worth the favorable outcome--no headache, grogginess after enjoying your wine! Sure makes sipping the reds more pleasurable and with confidence there's no sulfite hangover!! I'm sold on these filters. Thanks, Ullo!

Works for more than wine!!
I love wine, but like many others, it gives me terrible migraines. American red wines (and countries like Australia and Chili who like to sell in American markets) are soaked in oak barrels which give it that oak flavor and extra sulfites which are the cause. California Pinot Noir's are especially bad! European red wines (French, Greek or Italian) don't do the extra oak soak so they don't bother me but you can't always get a good one in my area. We moved from the city to a rural area (there isn't even a total wine store for 137 miles!) So I found these filters at Amazon! (when you live in the country there are trade offs, but Amazon is your lifeline!) In the summer we like to drink margaritas with tequila. The regular brand we use was out at the store so I tried Jose Cuevro, special silver. However, 1 margarita later I had a whopping migraine. I read online how it's made (cause there is nothing on the label) and it turns out they age this tequila in oak barrels for 12 months - ugh! Rather than toss the bottle, I decided to try and filter it, worked like a charm! Now, thanks Ullo, I can enjoy sulfite free wine and tequila!! And by the way, I filter my liquids through a funnel too, don't need the expensive one they sell with this product.

Definitely works
I have been using this product for three years and have recommended it to several friends. Great product.

A smoother taste, a more pleasant experience and reduces after effects if too much is consumed.
The taste of the wine when using the Ullo filters is actually smoother and nicer than when poured directly out of the bottle. I like to get moderately priced red wine, between 15.00 and 25.00 a bottle. I find that by filtering out the sulfites and aerating first, drinking wine is a much more pleasant experience. I also appreciate that the business stands behind the product. When I reported an issue with a couple of the filters leaking into the wine, I received a package of filters to replace the defective ones. I appreciated that! The only drawback is the price of the filters. I figured that it added about three dollars to each bottle of wine consumed. That is pretty costly. Other than that, I am very happy with the product!

Expensive but reliable
This is a great product for headache prone wine drinkers. Even some nice wines have way too many sulfites, so this was really helpful for my husband and I. That being said, you use 1 filter per every bottle of wine. This can get pricey and no matter who you buy extra filters from, it's always over $30 for a 10 pack. There is an issue with the "sand" in the filters as well. It can create a residue film in your wine after filtering, but that can be avoided by rinsing the filter with a little water before you pour wine. I only took the perfect rating away for the two reasons listed (expensive and residue), people should know it's not a perfect product, but it's miles above the 2 day migraines I used to get after drinking wine.

A must for red wine drinkers:)
These are a must for red wine drinkers!! these other replacement filters only! You need to make sure to get the system for it to work properly you cannot just throw these in a glass. One filter is for a whole bottle of wine! I personally do not use them for white wine, but you could, I usually just use them for my red wines!!

I can now drink wine
Been using this product for years. I am allergic to sulfur and it filters it out. I can't drink wine without it being filtered.

Great, but some came ripped
*UPDATE* after messaging the seller, they sent me a refund even though it has been 7 months since my purchase. Amazing! Thank you, will be buying more! The reason for my 1 star is because after slowly making my way through these filters, I am finding 5+ of them have not been sealed properly and the filtering sand has leaked out making them unusable. It's been awhile since I purchased them so I can't really return them. I truly love the way these filters make wine taste. I won't drink wine without using it now! The down side is they're pretty darn expensive and now with half or more being wasted, I'm really disappointed. Hoping the seller can help a sister out because I really do enjoy these.

The Ullo filters are great. They get rid of all the sediment and sulphites. They are pricey but well worth it. When ordering from Amazon, the filters came much quicker than ordering directly from the Ullo site. Also I did not get hit with a $30.00 customs bill like I did when I ordered from Ullo directly.

Use with wine purifier and whilst expensive at £28 for ten! I have to say I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a glass of wine without waking up the next day with a headache 😫 used these for first time and whilst only had one glass - no headache the following morning 🎉 Brilliant!
