Can this be machine sewn and is it heat resistant for pan stand etc?

Hi, I have used this product to replace the sunscreens in a caravan. The material can definitely be sewn, unfortunately I am unsure about the heat from a pan. Potentially it could be, so you would have to experiment with it yourself. Hope this helps you

What is the UPF of this please?

I have no idea to be honest but I would imagine that the UPF is very high. The midday sun is now directly on a sun blind that I made and the sitting room is in almost darkness. The material is plasticised and alows virtually no sunlight to pass through. I could sit behind it all day and doubt that my skin would burn. Possibly the vendor would have more precise information?
