Q: why isnt there a high power output charging usb c port separate from the host port?

Q: the power adapter for my Surface Pro 8 says the output is 60 watts. The description for this dock lists output at 90 watts. Will it work?

I may be wrong, but I think the Thunderbolt interface will talk to each other and get the optimal power by itself.
