ProCase Hard Shell Case and Keyboard Cover for MacBook Pro 15 -Black

It’s exactly what it says it is. A plastic hard-ish shell for MacBook Pros. I have the museum grade 2019 15” maxed out MacBook and it fit like a glove. The color (mine is black) looks nice, and it feels great to the touch. It was pretty easy to install. While it won’t turn your computer into a tank, it will provide some protection against corner dents and toddler assaults. The keyboard cover was a good fit. It’s transparent enough for the keyboard light to shine through. It also adds a little bit of texture and depth to that god-awful Butterfly keys design. Having said that, the 2019 MacBook is a mean throttlin’ machine, so I did remove the lower shell, just to double dot the ö’s and have the spirit of Steve Jobs on my side when operating the flame throwing beast. But this has nothing to do with the cover itself. So I would recommend it if you’re looking for a plastic cover that looks and feels good to the touch. Just don’t expect it to protect your laptop against drops.

Great case, fits perfectly , I needed a simple hard shell case for my MacBook & this is exactly what I got. Smooth feel, I got clear and it’s crystal clear, looks shiny, have not tried to remove it yet but it was easy to put on. The keypad cover is a little weird and can’t get it to perfectly fit on the keys, could just be me but doesn’t line up with the wording on the keys, Not a huge deal cause I didn’t need a key cover anyways .

This is the second laptop case I have bought from this company and this one fits well and looks very nice. I have no complaints with the laptop cover. The keyboard cover on the other hand is a floppy and warped piece of silicon that doesn't sit properly on the keyboard. I contacted the seller and sent them pictures and they told me to contact Amazon since this was packed and sold by them. Amazon's only "solution" was for me to send both the laptop cover and keyboard cover back, wait for my refund to process, then reorder and hope the keyboard cover is better... which judging by the other reviews isn't likely. It seemed like a lot of wasted time, energy, and fuel for a little piece of rubber so I passed. FWIW the keyboard cover came folded up inside of the laptop cover which probably contributed to it being warped out of shape. The better ones seem to be sold in a flat box for this very reason. Amazon did say they would credit me $10 which will mostly cover the cost of another keyboard cover so things should turn out fine for me. With the number of complaints about the keyboard cover though I think the company that makes it should be doing a better job or not include it at all.

This is a surprisingly good case that fits the MacBook very well. Easy to install and stays put. Has a very nice look to it, definitely punches above its weight. It looks very professional. The key cover wasn’t something I used, but no deduction in stars, as I wasn’t looking for that anyway. I will update this if durability issues arise. I am impressed so far.

Original review: 11/15/2021: The case itself seems to be pretty sturdy, but it doesn't fit right. As you can see, one end of the bottom piece doesn't sit flush against the laptop, as if it's been bent outward or something. And now that I see the pictures, I can see what looks like tool marks where someone has possibly tried to trim the edge. Perhaps to try and make it fit better. I don't know if this is a design flaw or if I just got a bad one (or one that was returned and sent to me as new). Either way, I will be returning this unless the manufacturer can address it. Updated 11/17/2021: I submitted for a return of the original case and asked them to send a replacement. It just arrived today and I swapped out the ill fitting bottom piece for the replacement. It fits like a champ. So this was just an issue with that particular piece. I would now highly recommend this case as the fit and finish is very good. Build quality seems very sturdy as well. I do like the color (darkblue) as well. Thanks Amazon for the quick replacement and for making this right.

I wanted a case for my MacBook Pro. I was thinking about getting a i-Blason case after reading a review about the ProCase by a reviewer who had used both the ProCase and i-Blason case. He like the i-Blason case more for protecting laptop from a fall. I did get a i-Blason case but it did not work out for me. So I got this ProCase as a replacement. The previous reviewer is correct. This ProCase is not built for fall protection. The plastic covers pop off easily. This ProCase is not for impact protection. However, I like it as a scratch- or dirt-protector. It is slim and elegant. The vents on the bottom plastic cover align perfectly with my MacBook Pro vents. It lifts the laptop up above the table a little more, so that air can flow more easily for heat dissipation. So I like my ProCase protective case. But it is obvious this case will not protect your laptop from fall impact or any impact with significant force.

The shipment arrived quickly and was packed very nice. Extremely professional and could not have been better in regards to the way the products were shipped. The case itself was exactly as described. It was able to snap in place over my new MacBook Pro. For that that have dongles that must be flush against the laptop, this will NOT work for you. This cover is excellent for aesthetics to have a smooth and sexy sleek look that will likely protect your laptop from scratches and superficial things. However, this cover is not for dropping this thing as it will NOT protect your computer from that. The reason I've taken away two stars is for the keyboard cover. I specifically chose this product over others simply because it came with a matching keyboard cover. This thing does not stay in place. I can't get it straight on the keys. I have to have it straight on the keys so that I can actually see all the keys. Thank goodness that I don't look at the keyboard when I type, but this would be a problem for those that do. Overall, a decent product. Thanks.

This is exactly what I needed to protect my new Macbook Pro (That's why we're all here, right?). Everything about the case is great. It fits well and hasn't snapped off in any situation thus far. This is really a must have for any Macbook Pro owner. Just a heads up, this most likely will not work with a USB hub that sits flush against the computer, such as the HyperDrive USB Type-C Hub. This case leaves just enough room to plug in cables, but that's about it. The keyboard cover fits very nicely and never slides off while typing. One thing I have noticed, however, is that after using it for a few weeks, the spacebar has started to show some wear (picture attached). I only use my right thumb to press the spacebar, so the area around it is starting to stretch a bit. 95% of the cover still fits snug, but the bottom middle of the cover needs slight adjusting every once in awhile. It's expected, though, as the keyboard cover is made of a thin rubber material. There is white lettering on all the keys, as well, but the backlight doesn't show through. There is a small opening for the caps lock indicator light, but that's it. Overall, I am very pleased with this and may purchase a different color in the future!

A basic cover with a good fit. The cover clips are not stable, sometimes it detaches easily. I bought a black color cover and it catches oil marks easily. decent product for the price though. Nothing major.
