Thanks for contacting. You can install a hardwire kit, which is used to connect the dash cam and your car's fuse box. After installing the hardwire kit, the parking monitor is entering time-lapse mode. It will record one frame per second, which extremely save power and tf card capacity (In a normal record, it's 30 frames per second). If the vehicle hasn't been used for a long time, the parking monitor mode will stop recording after 24 hours. It will start normal recording after the car engine turns on.
