Yes Yes Yes — Great Product!
Update 6/20/2023: About one week ago we had to give our cat some methimazole to stabilize as he was losing weight and seemed a bit jittery. He was giving off that “espresso shot look” again. …Now we are alternating the BestLife with the methimazole. Update 5/31/2023: Our cat is doing great! The main factor was to maintain weight and the hyper activity. We give him 3 pills inside of a pill picket by morning and 3 pills again at night. Sometimes we miss doses by accident, but he is doing well! Update 5/6/2023: Our cat is beginning to lose weight and seems more hyper so we upped his dose. His weight is usually around 14-16 lbs. we adjusted to three doses per day (2 pills each). 6 pills/day total. Update 4/26/2023: This product has surprisingly been great! We have skipped some evening doses and he acts the same. We have decided to dispense two tablets (based on weight) in the morning and one at night (instead of another two). He is maintaining his weight and everything is normal/ as usual! He no longer has loose stool after about 1.5 weeks. ————- My 14 year old orange tabby (14-16lbs) was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism two years ago after losing weight far too fast, constant hunger and looking like he drank 8 cups of espresso daily… needless to say, our vet did some bloodwork and he has been on methimazole ever since. More recently, I have carefully considered (after thoroughly reading about pharmaceutical drugs) that I highly prefer to go the natural route given the damaging side effects any Rx can potentially have on animals/humans. These little tablets are a God-send! They’re so easy to pop inside of a pill pocket. Thus far, he is on week two and he takes two of these tiny tablets in the morning and another two in the evening. So far, so good! No issues with them going in the pill pockets, either. He is calm, sleeps normally, and eats normally. It was a quick transition from the methimazole. The only negative is a loose stool. I am hopeful it will regulate soon, but only time will tell. I also read someone gives their cat three doses per day. *keeping that in mind for later down the road* Two doses of two tablets per day works great for now. Each bottle is 450 tabs. We are very thankful for this natural product!!

Seems to be working well for weight gain/appetite
I pair this with my cats thyroid meds. Twice a day! He’s looking healthy and back to his old self with weight gained. Idk if it’s solely his thyroid meds helping or with this medicine paired with it for results. I have had no issues with it! I do recommend paired with thyroid meds.

It’s helping!
So far I have seen improvement in my cat’s health. Looking better and putting on some weight. Also, easy to administer. Crushing it or melt in water works well.

This is my UPDATE from "We will see..." review
My Miss Mama is going back to the Vet's on the 6th of Nov for blood work check for Hyperthyroidism so at this point and time I cannot give an honest opinion... I did give 3 stars at this time because she has not lost any more weight and her outrageous eating habits have slowed down to a normal way of eating. My Vet is aware I wanted to try natural opposed to drugs and as long as my Miss Mama was not in danger, I opted this first. I will update as soon as I get blood work results. ******** UPDATE: Just received e-mail from Miss Mama's Vet regarding Her Hyperthyroidism levels PLEASE READ ******* I reviewed Miss Mama's bloodwork results and her T4 level has increased since her last visit. On 10/16 her T4 was 12.9 and yesterday11-6-24 her T4 was greater than 20 (for reference the normal range is between 0.8-4.7). This means that her hyperthyroidism is very uncontrolled. It's a good thing we got her started on methimazole. THIS MEANS THIS PRODUCT IS NOT GOOD FOR WHAT IS IT STATING! I am so glad I listen to my VET and had her levels rechecked and even though I wanted something natural for her, her life means more... so we started yesterday methimazole and hope I did not do her any harm by trying the Natural product. I have changed the stars to 1 and if I could have given 0 I would of due to misleading info from the maker. ALSO PLEASE PLEASE READ the INSIDE PAMPHLET on ANY PRODUCTS you purchase AS I FOUND A NON-NATURAL ingredient in another product from them, again misleading info. I wish product ingredients were somewhere listed on the selling page so we could see ingredients before making the purchase.... would be helpful. Miss Mama will go back in 3 weeks for blood recheck and I hope and pray she will be better, and I did not cause any additional harm by trying a NATURAL product.

It's helping...so far
I plan to update in a month or two. I have an outside yellow tabby who is almost 16. She has always shed a lot and has been losing weight gradually for 2-3 years (weighed 10 lbs at age 4 and weighs 8 now), but no obvious health problems, per her annual vet visit. Switching to mid-grade Purina dry food several years ago helped her coat (and all the other cats) but the hair loss got worse again this summer along with almost daily hair balls (tubes!). I have been giving her 2 tablets of this product per day for a month, and she has had no ill effects. She may or may not have gained weight (my scale only does 1/2 pound increments) but her back feels less bony and she is no longer shedding or having hair balls. I will update in 4 to 8 weeks.

Was skeptical, but happily surprised
I read a lot of reviews about their cats dying after this medication (which I wondered if the cat was too far in for treatment before taking this medication), reviews that the product was homeopathic and wouldn't work due to no placebo effect with animals and some reviews from people who were recommended this by their vet for pets with sensitivities. I didn't want to take my cat to the vet as she's already anxious and easily stressed and she hates the vet office to the point of shaking when she's there. She's 12 years old and I recognized the beginning of hyperthyroidism. She's always been a small cat, never above 6 pounds, so the weight loss was hard to tell on her. Her back fur kept balding from overgrooming and her nose fur started to go which really got me paying attention. I noticed she was peeing more often and drinking a ton of water, her sister had this issue and she ended up dying not long after I realized the issue so I started looking into treatment at home besides home cooked meals. I started this cautiously, 1 pill for about 7 days just to see how she reacted to it. She was fine, no real issues. I finally started the 2 pill recommended dosage after establishing she wasn't going to have a reaction to the medication and within about 2 weeks I noticed changes already. She stopped scream meowing constantly, she was less aggressive about food and she toned down on the water. I have started giving her 2 pills at the same time every day so I don't forget and she's doing well with that for the last 1.5 weeks. It's been probably near a month and her hair on her back is growing back, the nose is unchanged, but her weight is back to normal and she's back to playing with my other cat rather than lashing out at her randomly. You get a lot of medication in a glass bottle so that's an amazing sign of quality and the results have sold me. This won't cure her, but it will help her stay herself until it's eventually her time to go and I'm grateful for the time this medication is giving us.

No noticeable difference
My cat couldn't be diagnosed with hyperthyroidism even though it was suspected because she was too underweight and too old to risk putting under to draw blood (she was too upset/aggressive to have it taken any other way). Since I couldn't get medication for her, I went ahead and tried this - twice a day I crushed up the pills and gave it to her with her meals. She definitely ate it, but she didn't really have any change. About 3-4 weeks later I had medication that could make it so they could take blood for a test. I was informed that normally the test doesn't really detected it the first time and they usually have to follow up with a more sensitive test. She didn't even need the followup. Her levels were high enough to show she was solidly hyperthyroidic. Could be her levels had been SO HIGH that these pills affected it, but if so, it wasn't enough to actually help her. The only thing I'll note is she did stop throwing up around the time I started giving her these pills, but due to a variety of things, that's more anecdotal rather than scientific reasoning.

Dry beneficial pills! They work!
My cat is 12 years old and had lost weight, very thin and bony. I have been giving her 3 a day for 2 1/2 months and she is is filling out and less bony. She eats well and is not vomiting up her food like she did previously. I was skeptical about these pills too, but they are helping her and I will continue to buy them for her. I haven’t weighed her but she looks much better and has calmed down. I am so glad I found these!!
