is this compatable with an LG magic remote

The sales info says that if you place your hand in front of your remote and this stops it changing tv controls then the simple remote will work on it.

How can a blind person know which channel she is on when she turns the TV on? Does it default to channel 1 or go back to the last channel?

For my family member who suffered a stroke l programmed the small black F button for number 1 from the original tv remote. So should they ever ‘get’ lost among the hundreds of TV channels a simple press of F button brings them to Channel 1 which for us is BBC1 Also we found that the last channel you were on when switching off that was the one it switched on to on a Samsung Tv using the Red On/off button

It may be BLAUPUNKT. If not, it should be written on the back of the TV somewhere, on a label maybe. It may also display briefly when you turn the TV on.
