how strong is it? is it stronger than loctite? what are some good examples of its strength

I have used it to assemble figurines, glue metal together and even help hold bolts in place and haven’t had a problem with it yet. The only ‘issue’ I had was using it to help hold the leg onto my slow cooker. It lasted a while but did break down after a few months. I feel pretty sure that is the fault of the heat of the slow cooker and no fault of the glue.

Can I use this to attach tips for doing my nails?

I use this for a lot of things. Every so often I end up accidentally gluing my finger to something or something to my finger nails. It glues wood, metal and lots of other stuff to my fingernails really well. So, while I haven't purposely glued tips on my nails, I would expect it to work unless the tips are teflon or something like that. If you don't use accelerator you will have a very very short time to position the tips on your nails. With accelerator, you will have almost no time to reposition. You might find that the Thick version might work better. It will stay in place better and give you a little more time for positioning if you need it. Wear eye protection when working with this. Edit: CA glue is not suitable for filling gaps. The tip would have to have good surface contact with your nail for this glue to really bond it.

How do you remove this dried glue from fingers?

I get it on my fingers all the time when gluing intricate wooden pieces, the only thing that I've found to help is to use sandpaper once it dries (which is pretty quick) and rub the spot on my finger onto the sandpaper. It breaks it up and makes it come of a lot faster.
