Are these the same size/quality as the stand red Clover brand wonder clips?

This box contains 100 small clips. The clips measure 1" (one inch) from top to bottom and 3/8" (three eights of an inch) wide. Very strong and good quality. Open wide up to 1/2" (half an inch)The bottom is flatCan be used to hold layers of fabric, papers, seal bags, binding etc.The picture shows assorted colors but the ones I received are red and blue only;which I like very muchCome in a little storage tin box with a handle that measures 3"x4"I do not have Clover clips, but I highly recommend this brand. I would highlight that these are tiny, but larger sizes are available. Highly recommend them.

Where are these produced?

China. And is a terrific buy. The original wonder clip is so overpriced it’s shocking. This product is identical reasonably priced well packaged and arrives quickly

I have found that they can be used anywhere you would use a straight pin or safety pins. I have not used for gathering however. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!
