This is a sweet book that increases connection with your child. It is a good reminder to parents and grandparents to show affection in the way that the child needs, for the child not the adult.Personally, we never force affection on our children and children and let them choose to be affectionate. They are autonomous and their bodies belong to them. I am a confident parent without forcing my child to hug me, grandparents or others.When used properly, this sweet book builds on the positive relationship you hopefully already have. 10/10

My Grandson is the only child I know that begs to be tickled, hence the purchase of this book. He was thrilled.

I read this book to my 4 month old regularly. It is already a favorite. The rhymes are cute and the baby is fascinated by the colorful images of animals and their babies enjoying giggles. As the book describes times when little one giggles, it opens up our interaction. "You giggle when we play piggy toes," is followed by my playing piggy toes with him and the same for snuggly kisses and playing peek-a-boo. Short enough for a short attention span or a quick bedtime story for a little one who is needing to get to sleep fast. I bought this book as baby started giggling knowing nothing about it and find it to be the best book of our collection.

I have been collecting "Little Golden Books" to read to my precious grandson.His father (my son) always loved books as a child and I always encouraged him to read.My grandson is only a toddler at this stage but he is already developing an interest in looking at books and likes me to read to him.This one is already a favourite - the bright colourful illustrations capture his attention and he listens attentively to the story.I strongly recommend it to all parents (and grandparents) of young children.

I bought this book for my two Great Grandsons, ages 5 & almost 2. The 5 year old just loves making the younger one giggle!So when I saw the book, I knew they would like to hear all about Giggles. According to my granddaughter, their mother, they LOVE it! It's "requested reading" almost every day! So my "mission" was accomplished. Little Golden Books have been a staple in ourhome for many years & there will be quite a few under the Christmas tree again this year!

My granddaughter loved the story and the book so much, she wanted to eat it! Really cute story.
