Does the rack have a hole in the male receiver to lock it to the car?

It has a hole in the portion that goes into the hitch receiver on the vehicle. Use a pin with a lock.

So you can fold up the rack when you don't have bikes on it to reduce your parking footprint?

Yes it folds up nicely to reduce the parking footprint and it is very easy.

Does it work for kids bikes?

Hi, Thanks for reaching out! The Kuat NV Base 2.0 will be able to fit wheel sizes between 20"-29", but will require the use of our wheel adapter for wheels between 20"-24". This adapter is not included in the box but we are happy to provide if you send an email to: info@kuatracks.com, or give us a call: 877-822-5828. Unfortunately if the tire is smaller than 20" I could not recommend using this rack. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

does it come with hitch adapter for 2 inch hitch?

You can buy it for either a 1.25" or 2" hitch receiver. No adapter necessary.
