They seem too small at first, but they're actually perfect.
When I received these, I thought they might be too small for me. However, that's actually why they work so well: by providing a tight fit... but yet totally comfortable at the same time. I use them with 2.2 lb weighted shin guards and they do an outstanding job of keeping them in place.

I always had this problem of shin pads slipping behind my socks. This guard stay is the perfect solution, and also comes with a great price. $5 cheaper than rebel and the other sports stores.
