GAME Solar Digital Pool & Spa Floating Thermometer, Solar Powered, Fahrenheit & Celsius, Double-Sided Display, LCD Screen, Blue

After only 3 weeks, water has been entering the thermometer. Now this water fogs up the sight glass. I hoped that this was a unique flaw and bought a 2nd one (stpid me). Same problem. Thermometer is NOT watertight. Don't waste your money.

Great large numbers on both sides. Digital solar so no need to replace batteries. accurate temp. Only downside like others said is that it gets water under the screen and doesn’t dry. Do not keep in pool while kids are in there because it should not be submerged (which may have happened altho I take out for the most part) or could be from rain when on table or in pool. but still works well just wish they would make it more waterproof for the price especially being it’s used in water!?! And wish theyd have a removable top so you can unscrew it to clean it If need be. Other than that works great. Needs scrub cleaning often

We had a monster of a summer last year and this thing wasn't fazed a bit. Still going strong now in July 2024. I took it out of the pool last winter and put it back in March. Great product!!! I bought this in May 2023 and sealed all open spaces (where it's designed to allow water to come into contact with the temp sensor) with silicone aquarium caulk as recommended by another reviewer. After I put it in the pool I looked at it every day. The display is so large I can read it by standing poolside. We swim every day so I inspect the sealant every day. At one point it was peeling because I didn't smooth the caulk with my finger when first applied. I peeled all of it off and let it drain for a day to allow any moisture to drip out or evaporate. I recaulked it, let the caulk cure, and returned it to the pool. The heatwave continues and this little unit is working perfectly.

Seems like decent quality materials. Accurate temperature readings and love that it is solar powered so I don't have to worry about batteries. Does the job it's meant to.

I think I have experimented with more pool thermometers than most people as I've owned pools for over 20 years. I like the wireless ones the best that give you readouts inside your home. Thought I had a winner with the last one I bought but it started providing inaccurate readings and would cut out completely from time to time. This thermometer is the next best option. Yes, it produces readings only where the thermometer is located. However you do not need to bend down to see the temp. The digits are large enough to be seen while standing and they are on both sides of the thermometer. The readings are very accurate and that is what is most important for a pool thermometer. It is a solar unit, but it has batteries. However you cannot replace the batteries. I've been using mine for close to a year now and haven't needed to do anything. It's always on and doesn't require any charging or batteries so I'm very happy with it. And I think you will be too.
