Jetboil MightyMo Ultralight and Compact Camping and Backpacking Stove

As someone who lives for overlanding adventures and captures every rugged moment for my content, the Jetboil MightyMo has quickly become a star player in my kit. I needed a stove that was lightweight, compact, and didn’t take up precious space in my buildout — and this baby fits the bill like a dream. It tucks neatly into my drawer system and barely adds any weight, which is crucial when you’re balancing gear and camera equipment. What really seals the deal? The simmer control is chef’s kiss. I’ve whipped up everything from ramen to real meals (hello, skillet breakfast shots for the ‘gram) with zero fuss. The push-button ignition works flawlessly, even on early misty mornings when I’m setting up that golden hour B-roll. 🔥 Boils water fast 🎒 Doesn’t hog space 📸 Looks great on camera Honestly, it’s become a behind-the-scenes hero in my content creation and off-grid coffee rituals. The perfect camping, kayaking, hiking cook stove. It heats water up FAST and doesn’t use a lot of fuel to do so. I love the compact size and it’s perfect for kayak camping or hiking. I wish it had a wind break of some kind tho cuz the flame will go out with the smallest of breezes. I’ve created something… but it could be better. I take this cook stove with me all the time and not just for camping, but I use it at rest stops on long trips and even at my kid’s outdoor tennis matches

I love the MightyMo!!! It’s light weight, easy to use and it comes with a little bag to keep it in. I have taken this with me on all my backpacking trip in 2022 and I’ve never had any issues with the flame going out with wind and it boils water in minutes. The reason I give this a 4 star and not 5 is because the regulator broke on the first backpacking trip I used it on. I’ve read about this happening, so I was extra careful with it hoping it wouldn’t happen to me, but it did. ☹️ I can still use it, but I wish it was still there.

We have 4 minimo's for our family of backpackers. I am a huge fan of the regulator control on the jetboil, especially when I want to simmer food. My boys asked me to figure out how to dump some weight after our last trip to Seneca Creek backcountry in WV. I decided to start with the stove system. I have always been impressed with how fast the minimo is able to boil water. It doesn't seem to matter if I am in 15F weather with wind or sitting in 90F on the beach, this thing just boils water fast. With that being said, I was a little concerned that this would not live up to my expectations. I put 2 cups of water in my titanium pot, went outside in a 50F wet night and I think I had a boil under 2 minutes. I didn't time it as I was just making sure it worked. The one thing I noticed right off the bat was how high the flame went. The burner looks a bit larger than that of the minimo and the flame definitely shoots higher. When we use it in the field, I will update my review. As of right now, super happy with my purchase.

This was a simple set up. Bought the fuel canister locally and took it backpacking this weekend. A better value than buying the full jet boil system for my needs!
