Buy Build Your Own Website The Right Way Using HTML & CSS 3e by Lloyd, Ian online on desertcart.ae at best prices. โ Fast and free shipping โ free returns โ cash on delivery available on eligible purchase. Review: After combing through a good number of beginners books on HTML & CSS, this book is certainly the best one. I walked into coding a complete novice, knowing only how to create bare bone pages. After I finished the book, I knew how to create a fully functional and visually delightful website. Ian Lloyd walks the user through the basic nuts and bolts of a website, all the way to an aesthetically pleasing design. In many ways, the author goes beyond the "how-to" approach, by encompassing useful tips and background info, as well as access to webfiles and other helpful resources. The pages are fully laid out with pictures and code mark-up, chapter by chapter, on how to accomplish specific tasks. Even if you're not a beginner, the book serves as an excellent resource with a detailed index and up to date information on HTML5 & CSS3. Go for it. Review: As a blogger who uses Wordpress.org, I am interested in learning more about web design so I can have more control over my website. This book far surpassed my expectations. It's direct, clear and is written at a very accessible level. I am easily able to apply the concepts and ideas addressed in each chapter. Further, the organization of it is excellent. Ian Lloyd makes logical steps in his pathway for teaching how to build your own website. Although I purchased several website design books along with this one, I quickly realized his is the only one a person really needs. Therefore, I would recommend anyone who classifies himself/herself as between beginner and intermediate level with regard to web design purchase this book.

This is a book that I was required to have for a basic web design class. About 1/3 of the way through the class, I realized that the instructor wasn't instructing us at all. He was just regurgitating the book! It's that good. It's clear, concise, easy to understand and if you have an interest in learning HTML & CSS, I highly recommend this book. Pros: Easy to understand Inexpensive Expansive coverage Includes files to download for reference and "checking" yourself Cons: Talks Windows XP, doesn't get into 7 No Chrome info
