Ignore the reviews about being unable to solder the terminals. The problem they are experiencing is universal to soldering in general - the solder will not stick without flux and a clean tip. For best results, do not use a rosin-core solder. Get a roll of solid 63/37 tin-lead and use a dedicated flux, like Oatey H-20 water soluble paste (the red and white container, not the tinning version). Use very small amounts of flux and solder to pre-tin the terminals before you attach the wires, and you will be impressed. To reduce smoke and oxidation, set the tip to 273C for 63/37 solder, and get one of those tip cleaners which has a ball of copper mesh inside (don't waste time with wet sponges). Review: Good but connectors are more like a hook instead of being round with a hole. Just requires some practice and extra rigging to ensure wires don't fall out while soldering.

Good quality, no issue with connections. DIN7 there's a bit of a unique connector for a foot switch. Using these to build an out of production foot switch for a Peavey amplifier. Great value for the money. The length of the tabs are a little short. You need precise solder skills to get the wires to stick properly. Aside from that shortcoming the product works well.

When new, these are incredibly tight, almost to the point you think you might not get your male end socket back. Suggest some breaking in with a male plug before actually installing.

As expected. Nicely made.
