It's difficult to convey just how much nicer it is to have the controllers physically strapped to your palms instead of having to manually grip them all the time or let them hang from the safety straps. Without a doubt this has been the best accessory I've bought for my Reverb G2.

when it arrived the velcro was not stuck down on the strap so it was completely useless, i fixed it myself with adhesive velcro and it now is very good so I will keep them but really I should not have to do that for 20 pounds.

These are a good replacement for the covers on the G2 controllers. The addition of the straps reduces hand fatigue in games like beat saber where you would otherwise tend to grip the controllers tightly so you don't accidently throw them. Otherwise the method to remove them is superior also- lift the clip and slide to remove. I found the original controller covers would bite into the batteries, stripping the plastic wrapping from them, not to mention the covers were smooth making it hard to get enough purchase to slide them off. *UPDATE* The bridge that the strap threads through broke on the left side without any impact or rough handling or storage. It's a bit thin here and strap pressure alone was enough to break it. I'll try to glue it but it's a major shame as the g2 is a neglected device for accessories so this is one of the only choices. Knocking 2 stars off for that because a vr controller should be hard-wearing and a weak accessory is no fun.

I don't know what to say, if you have a reverb G2 and that lanyard wrist strap annoys you. Before this, my VR controllers flies like grenades and stones, wreaking things unintentionally, almost broke my LG 1 65" TV screen. Never again, this AMVR hand grip saves the day, your living room items, and help hold those controllers while you want to stretch those fingers for a quick rest. This VR hand grips replaces your HP OEM battery cover (why HP didn't think of this), and textured side and adjustable strap. My only concern its hard to remove the grip cover to access the battery, its super secure so you have to pull the little tab a bit to slide open. You will encounter this all the time if you're using alkaline batteries, I upgraded to rechargeable AA lithium battery because of occurring cost and for fun to last longer(its a must upgrades too). SUMMARY: BUY IT, A MUST

This delivers exactly what it promises, and I didn't feel let down in any aspect. In general, it's a great improvement of the quality of life and experience of using the controllers for an acceptable price. Pros: - Much easier to put on and off than the wrist strap. - Feels safe and secure, even when loosely gripping or not even gripping at all. Cons: - To start with, I found my hands cramping slightly after half an hour or so. This has cleared up, and I assume is more just the hands adjusting to the changed grip. - I do find it difficult to hit the lowest button on the controller, but since this is just the windows menu and has no use in games, this is very low impact. I'm also getting used to mashing it with the base of my thumb. Between those two points, this isn't a nuisance but I am aware of it. Neutral: - People have mentioned issues with the metal pick to take the covers off. Even though I remove the covers after every session to recharge my batteries, I've had no problem with this whatsoever. I can see it might be confusing if you aren't aware you need to use the pick, but since I was prepared this was nothing of note.

Overall I like this item. Good fit to customise to large palm. Good engineering fit to cobtrollers. Strap might lack of some breathable material which might need to some sweaty handling. Battery removal will required a supplied pick which I understand the need for secured cover as that only thing holding the controller to hand. Storage space for the original now unused battery cover is needed.
