You have to buy the 4 pin version of this..There are a few versions of the microphone.

Are these compatible with GTD audio receivers?

I am not 100% sure but I have used them on various systems, Hybrid, Samson, Sennheiser, Boya and they work fine. At the cost it would be worth trying one.

Is the mic arm flexible so that you can position the mic closer to the mouth?

It is flexible and can be bent (with some caution), but out of the package, with the boom straight, it is pretty much as close to the mouth as it can go. However, I have found 99% of the time I end up bending it down and back up to keep the mic from ending up in front of the mouth where it picks up breathing.
