Smooth-On Free Form Sculpt Epoxy Putty - Trial Size

This stuff is amazing. A little difficult to use at first. You have to wait until it sets up a bit to start carving it otherwise it's too goopy to hold any marks or texture.

I’m using it to repair models and it is easy to mix and repair with. Allows you to keep working for a while before it dries on you.

I have used this medium in the past but this container appeared out of date or unusable. The last batch used was light and fluffy and easy to get out of the container. This batch is bad and difficult to get out of its container and does not perform, hasn’t dried in over two days. Materials weighed on a scale for equal parts A and B.

I found this product fairly easy to use but I did rely on a YouTube video to walk me through. Guidance is important because it’s not obvious how to work with this product. Attached photos show “Before” and “After” repair.

But it works great! Honestly my favorite thing for patching or adding to resin casts, and it's my go-to for making customized toys. Just never use it with your bare hands! I highly recommend ordering some close/tight-fitting tattooist gloves to use while working with it.
