Ultra Hardware 44199 Patio Door Lock

I have one for myself and I bought one for my mother in law. It make both of us feel more secure, especially because the locks on patio doors don’t seem burglar proof.

My husband installed 2 of these; one on each sliding glass door. He then jerked on one door to see if it would hold if a thief tried to break in. The lock just snapped off and broke under very little pressure. So it was a waste of time and money. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

This is the best way to childproof our sliding doors. You can have it two ways: completely locked which has an added benefit of being burglar resistant, or slightly open to let air in specially during summer days but the opening is small enough to be childproof. Installation was very easy for DIY about 10 minutes. Thank you very much for a great product.

I used this on a French door at the top as the door would wiggle a bit in high winds and set off my house alarm. This worked like a champ to secure the top of the door. The door feels a lot more "solid" when closed now.

Work great to keep my little one from getting outside alone. They also add another layer of protection against an intruder. They are easy to install if you are comfortable with a drill. Very easy to use. You can unlock it one handed.

Got this to replace a similar one i had installed years ago. Easy install since the pin hole was already in place.

Bought 2 sets to secure our patio doors. These were easy to install and look nice as well.

Works Great! I now feel that our pool area is safe and well protected.

East to install but highly recommended if possible to install 2nd lock at bottom track adds more sturdinessfor for door support
