I'm one of those adult Lego builders. I ordered this set to add to foliage to my existing sets. There are lots of ways to use the pieces. I'm sure kids of all ages will enjoy using this set. There are no real directions so use your imagination! Happy building.

Yes there are no instructions, but isn't that the point? there are several ways to build the trees, there are several ways to build all the wilderness features, what's great is giving it to someone with a fun imagination and start building it! but for those who really need instructions I have added some pictures. My daughter enjoyed this set very much.also Lego brand is just as fragile on some of the small parts, don't step on them, they hurt and the tiny leaves break

Son and I love the set! Great value of all the pieces included.

Not too many animals, but my 5.5 year old granddaughter loved the two base plates that came with the set. She loves the bear (which can stand on 4 or 2 legs) and the alligator (whose mouth opens and closes). Also likes to place the fish in the flower stems so it looks like they are in seaweed. If we used all of the plants, the entire base would be covered. These are not Lego so they fall apart fairly easily if bumped and if you look closely at the rock - the pieces do not fit together (which was very annoying for my g-daughter!). She spent several hours putting her jungle together - so in my mind, worth the price But if you are looking for animals, you may be disappointed.
