TH04-M Thimble W'NDER-Medium

I was manager of a quilt store when I received one of these thimbles as a sample about 15 yrs ago. I used it and loved it because I could not get used to medal or thick thimbles. My hand work is mostly quilt binding, applique and some hand quilting. The thimble is soft with enough give to feel the needle as you are sewing but strong enough so that the needle does not poke through, as with everything they do wear down so I usually have about 6. I try to keep one with every project that I am working with and they last several years depending on the frequency of use. In all these 15 years I have worn out 2 of these thimbles.

After trying a dozen thimbles, this one is hands-down my favorite. Lightweight, protects my finger when pulling the needle and pushing thru fabric. Shaped well so it stays on. Only down side is that I think this product isn’t available any longer - which is really disappointing.

I love this product as it feels like skin when I hand sew. I can’t use traditional thimbles, this is a perfect alternative!
