I use them for cleaning when oil or watercolor painting

These are the worst cotton buds I have ever used. The cotton comes straight off the ends as soon as they are rubbed on anything with the potential of damaging the item being cleaned, or worse again a baby's delicate little creases. The stick is also terribly weak and breaks with the slightest pressure. Mine have been consigned to the bin where they can't cause and harm or damage.

Not enough cotton on the stick and the cotton does not hold in place so it just comes off as you twist the stick. Less than a quarter of a drop of water will completely saturate the cotton. Not good at all.
