Fits in my 39” deep rack perfectly. They were easy to install and hold my Synology RS822RP+ NAS as expected. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is the cost.

Good rail system needs better information
I purchased three of these for three separate projects. Was unable to use any of them due to the lack of depth dimensions. None of them fit into the server racks I purchased because the server rack depths were just short of the length of the rails. Synology has great products but need to make sure they include all the specifications so the proper products are ordered.

Caution - Deep rack required
The rails are well made and rugged but require a 24 inch deep rack at a minimum. You'll also have to have square holes in the back and preferably the front as well. I tried using rack extensions but the rack posts push the backs of the rails inward and the NAS wont slide in. These are also overkill for smaller rackmount units like the RS820+. Just a set of generic rails + the "ears" on the front of the unit will work fine. If you have a large rack and a large Synology NAS to mount in it, these rails are probably perfect.
