No, the candy is not shipped with a cold pack. It did arrive in good condition to Florida in August without special insulation.

Could these demet's candies be packaged in a sturdy box, instead of the flimsy package, to protect the candies???

Check the web site. There are other varieties that come quickly and cost less! I bought a 5# box at .80 an ounce vs. $1 and up per ounce for DeMet's. Also free shipping and here in 3 days-AK from the east coast!
