Used these for tortoise to bask on,tortoise ones are so expensive, slate is slate. But because sellers are cheeky by adding extra £5 on coz they think we're made of money as we have tortoises. We'll yes that may be the case. But don't rip others off. This slate is perfect for my tortie. He loves it,I put 2 together. Great appearance, very sturdy. And very good value. Fits well in his indoor home. And I've 4 for the outdoor home. Thick enough for his needs.washes easily.

I was a bit unsure about slate placemats at first, but these turned out to be a great purchase. The set of four looks modern and classy on the dining table, with a nice natural slate finish that isn’t overly rough or flaky. Unlike some cheaper alternatives, they don’t shed much at all, so you won’t find little bits of slate dust on your table every time you use them.The rubber feet on the underside are a thoughtful touch. They prevent the slate from scraping the surface of the table, and they also keep the mats steady so they don’t slide around. Cleaning them is really easy too just a quick wipe with a damp cloth and they’re good to go. They’re solid, sturdy, and surprisingly practical while still looking stylish. If you want something a bit more unique than standard fabric or wooden placemats, these are well worth it.

Fantastic item. Great seller. Bought twice from this seller. Highly recommend. Good price. And looks great as expected. Could be thicker but seems durable. 4 stars because of delivery. Just Bad delivery. Delivery issues caused delays and damages to the item . Change the delivery channel or use better delivery.

Nice but bits flake off from time to time and I got some stuck in my finger, which was annoying.

Got these to cool our 4 rabbits over the summer - 2 used them and lay on them all the time, the other 2 didn’t show any interest at all! They are nice quality
