I recently purchased the External DVD Drive USB 3.0 Type-C CD Burner Portable CD +/-RW Drive DVD Player for ROM, and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance. Been using it for a couple of weeks now and it's worked just fine. Only problem i have is that the type c plug doesn't seem to work. The USB A plug worked but still.. . it's got decent speed so so CDs were fine, haven't tried DVDs yet but I expect they work just fine.

I purchased this product last month. Tried to use it multiple times on 2 laptops. I used it mainly to copy contents from my personal CDs. It could not copy even 1 file of 650 MB even after 1 hour. Even my new laptop (purchased recently) stopped working and had to be restarted forcefully. I can not get replacement also as replacement period is over. It is complete waste of money. Pros : low cost or cheap Cons : Sub standard product, waste of money, very very slow, not useful at all.

The cd reader writer was purchased for INR 1220 and it was found to be non functional.. why is that Rs 300 was deducted and Rs 920 was returned. Ideally should have received the refund of entire amount of Rs 1220.

After 10 years i thought old CD again and watch all old after that search on internet and I found that player within price product is good in quality and reading speed

W is for win because it is so hard finding dvds and dvd players today, and this is the easiest way to see dvds in your laptop anytime anywhere! why didn't i find this awesome product before?! it is perfect and portable and easy to connect and use and works smoothly. the packaging is so secure and great for the price, even the places to keep the usb after using is amazing.

Plugged it in and it worked right away with no issues. The drive is lightweight, quiet, and reads discs quickly. I tested CDs and DVDs and everything worked perfectly. Great option if your laptop doesn’t have a built-in disc drive anymore. Very good value for the price.

The packaging is neet and sturdy; it has an elegant design. The external drive arrived two days earlier than promised and in perfect condition, with an adaptor for USB 2.0 (or 3.0?) to mini USB. I plugged the drive into my PC (which as USB 3.0) and inserted a CD in it. The small green light turned on and a small whirling noise started. Within seconds, the Drive appeared on my Windows Explorer. I double-clicked to the Drive and the CD started rght away and kept running smoothly, as if it were a ''real'' drive. :-) It works flawlessly with CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RW onto which I had stored Word documents, Excel spreadsheet, JPEG and audio files. I did not try engraving because it would be pointless as those supports are getting outdated. In fact, I purchased the drive to transfer data from CD's and DVD's to USB memory stick for convenience. I confess that I unpacked the drive very cautiously as I suspected that it might not work and I would need the packaging to return it. :-) My unfounded fear was regarding its compatibility with Windows 11. I can now confirm that it is compatible and... I will keep the drive. After a few hours of usage, I highly recommend this Ziweo external drive for its ease of use, its performance and for its price. Neat little drive to have around because DVD's and CD's will soon be obsolete.

I bought this so I can upload all of the physical CDs I own on to my cloud since my MacBook Air doesn't have a disc drive. I really did not want to buy digital versions of all the CDs I own since I have physical copies. So far it's been working well and I can now upload physical CDs to my MacBook Air and listen to them on my laptop or phone. The cord is very short and you can't really place the device anywhere to the side unless you're sitting at a desk or a table. It is a bit weird on how the device doesn't open the disc holder part all the way and just slightly where You have to pull it open the rest of the way but it did the same thing as showed in the display video with the person in the ad. so I guess that's how it works. so far it's doing its job right and I’m happy with it.

The portable player connected easily to the USB port. It was detected right away by Windows, reads CD and DVD.
