Perfection! This Data Cable revived my truck's info-tainment system. All of the old problems are gone. Clean, stable connection w/o pesky disconnects on bumps. Also Android Auto is displaying more options that were hidden by my old charging cables. My rider is a 2022 SR5 Tacoma pickem'up. Recently, after plugging my phone into the standard USB-to-Type-C cable I'd been using and... nothing. The truck's screen showed the error "Phone cannot be recognized". I changed cables. Same error. I swapped out the USB port on the dash. Still nothing. Hmmmm. hello, Google??? Found I needed a DATA CABLE in order to use Android Auto. Duh. This cable is the BEST for Android Auto connections. You need it for reliable listening (Podcasts, music, etc.), plus Google Maps/navigation. I wish I'd looked into this months ago. Highly recommended.

Product quality is good and it was delivered on time.

I don’t like braided cables, but they seem all the rage and there aren’t a whole lot of options for those of us. Coincidentally, these turned out to be some of the best USB-A to USB-C cables I came across, braided or not. They are true 1.6ft, USB-C compliant, and have consistently low resistance, across a bunch that I’ve tested - see representative photos. There are several reviews that complained about thickness and stiffness, including even a “warm tip” blurb in the product description, but I did not find that. The thickness is pretty average and if anything the cables are very pliable. One thing I did notice is that the jacket feels more “rubbery”, possibly TPE. Could be a manufacturing revision. The cables are priced dearly and at that price I would fully expect them to have USB-IF certification, but they don’t. CableCreation company has been around for awhile, and seemingly cares about their brand image. If so, they should consider publishing a proper product brief instead of a word salad customarily found on Amazon. E.g. instead of saying “thick”, “stiff”, “flexible” etc, the description should specify the wire gauge and the jacket material composition. Until then - 4 stars.

Durable and charges well. I use it for android auto. I think I'll just keep ordering from this brand when i need any cables

This made my belkin usb-c to usb-a cable look like a joke. Really impressed by the speed transfering files between my PC and the phone. Cable is also of great quality and plugs into my phone very easily. This is also an amazing cable for android auto. One major issue I've faced has been the constant disonnect and reconnect of my phone when plugged into my PC using a usb-c to usb-c cable. Once you use a good quality usb-c to usb-a cable this problem is gone. This cable finally stopped the constant disconnects.

I've tried various leads to connect my Samsung phone to my car via Android Auto. They tend to fail, either refusing to connect at all or giving up in the middle of the journey! This lead actually works, keeps working and has, so far proved very reliable conecting first time, every time. Just as importantly it stays connected throughout the journey. The cable is good quality reflected in its stiffness but that's a small price to pay for reliability. Highly recommend.
