Used in homemade vitamin D lamp
Used in a homemade UV lamp for vitamin D. These are powerful, so be careful with exposure time, and eye protection. It has helped me a lot.

Best 75% UVB, 25% UVA lamp available! Don't be fooled by UV lamps w/built-in reflector! Read why!
I just received my AgroMax 4ft Pure UV lamp, as well as a single bulb T5 fixture with an ALUMINUM REFLECTOR. Aluminum reflectors are a "must have" for any UV light. Even the Mylar covered reflectors are useless with UV! Another Very Popular UV lamp, same 75% to 25% ratio, but advertise that they're UV lamps have a built-in reflector, ARE NOT BEING TOTALLY TRUTHFUL! The lamps may have a reflector, but Apogee Meter w/UV/IR showed no difference between other UV lamps with No Reflector vs the built-in reflector brand. That's deceiving! This lamp with an Aluminum reflector should put out over 2X the output over the "built-in reflector brand" that's very misleading! THIS IS THE ONE!

Purchased a pair of these lights, they came packaged very well, however only 1 of 2 actually worked and turned on. Didn't bother with returning it or reaching out to seller. Minus one star for half being dead on arrival.

So far so good
Packaged very well. I run a 8x8x8 room. 2x 1k hps and 4x cob full spectrum 800 watt fixtures. Co2 @1200ppms. I'm running 2 of these about 20" above the canopy for 3min every 45min. Which comes out to about 48 min throughout the day. I used the cheap $26 short cycle timer here on Amazon. I also plugged the short cycle timer into a wifi smart plug so I can kill power to the timer from my phone before I enter the room. I also use them on the 4x led fixtures so i dont hurt my eyes. Stay safe!
