This product is exactly what it says. I was able to install mint easily and had the option to install like 7 other Linux systems. That part was flawless. My issue came from mint not recognizing my amd gpu (9070xt) but that had nothing to do with this product and everything to do with my having zero experience with Linux. I thought ChatGBT or YouTube would save me but nope lol. I may be doomed to windows. I had done my first pc build which turned out amazingly. I mean I impressed myself tbh. This was just more than I could handle. If you are better with Linux then me or just curious 100% go for it. It absolutely was a great learning experience. I learned I’m the slow kid lol. Im definitely gonna hold on to this and revisit it after I get some time in gaming on my 1440p beast but I would absolutely purchase anything I needed from this stellar again based on their honesty, speedy delivery (overnight) and ease of use. Again Linux isn’t for everyone, it’s definitely not easy like YouTubers make it out to be. You gotta start somewhere tho and if you hate Gates and Microsoft like I do it’s definitely worth learning. Also you do not have to install any of them without first giving them a try. Just grab you at least one 8gb usb blank for when you do want to install or remove and try others but I loved that I wasn’t forced into any one direction. The freedom that widows won’t allow. Again I will definitely hold on to this sub and either retry mint or maybe another system that is better with amd gpu drivers. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a Linux starter/sampler kit in a tiny USB drive. It worked in my locked-out HP all-in-one computer, giving me control of the machine (if not access to my data) while MS decided how long to make me wait to get back into Windows. It has made me still more inclined to make a serious trial of Linux and a little less scared of doing so at an advanced age. The printed instructions were minimal but adequate. When I had to change some settings on the computer to use this device, I took a picture of the original settings to make it easy to restore them if and when needed.

The delivery included a booklet that aided in bypassing the regular log in in order to load the Linux OS

Attempted to load on three computers and not recognized on neither. Perhaps customers should consider downloading free software from online Linux sites. Folks this device was dead on arrival. Too late to send back for refund. If vendor sends me one that works I would consider that the first one was just a lemon. Buyer beware; really after attempting to load on THREE computers?

I bought this to replace Win10 on an old Dell laptop with Linux. I installed Linux Mint without any issue. What I appreciated most was the range of choices. I have another vintage Win 10 laptop that I will switch to Linux with this Item. I will test the various Linux versions on the second laptop.

OK.. this is NOT a USB with the full Linux Operating System ready to use. Yes, it does boot and you can select the OS. . But, it's the bootable "Installation Media". .i.e, this is the "iso made bootable", which you then have to use to install the full OS on ANOTHER USB. If you want, for example, Linux Mint on a USB to just plug in and use normally, you can use this to create that. You can use this to "play around", but you can't save anything, including settings. For example, you can use Libre Office to create and save a document, or select a screen saver image, but when you unplug this USB and restart, that stuff will be gone.

I'm using Windows 10 on multiple computers and don't want to buy new system just for Windows 11. Since I only use computer for a few task thought I would try Linux Mint. I was amazed at the ease of installation! Was up and running off the flash drive in minutes! Was on internet watching Youtubes shortly after! Setting up my network printer was a breeze! Don't throw away those old computers try Linux first. Once you unplug USB your back to using Windows 10. I will eventually do a entire Linux install later.
