When making clarified butter, will this product allow whey at the bottom to be poured off from when butter (which is at the top) is heated?

I don't think this product works for home made ghee. I have two reason for that; the first reason is that the plastic is not for high temperature (like the clarified butter needs), the second reason that I believe is not for that becasue the hole in the bottom doesn't have a mesh that can caught any crumbs. Personally, I don't use this for my home made ghee, just and only for my chicken or beef broth.

Is there a Manual on how to use this?

Very easy to use. Let liquid cool a little bit until you see the fat separating. Pour into separator and put a container under the fat separator. Push down knob and liquid will start draining. Stop when you are close to the fat.

What is the capacity of this separator?

Hi Doa, thank you for your question. The capacity of the fat separtator is 32ounces/4cups/1 literYosiVondior team

Does fat stay in top?

Given time, the fat rises to the top. Pressing the button opens the stopper at the bottom so you can drain off the nearly fat-free stock.
