Hitec 32225S HS-225MG Mighty Mini Servo

I have used Hitec servos for a long time and needed more of this particular model for an RC airplane currently under construction. My past experience with the HS-225 servos has been very good. I have found them to be reliable and quite powerful for their size and weight. They are also fast and accurate enough for sport flying, including aerobatics. I ordered these servos from Amazon mainly because of the price and free shipping.

This servo works great as a mini servo for the shift servo in my Vaterra Twin Hammers. It does the job and does it well. I'm not sure how well it would hold up as a steering servo in a mini truck, but for shifting gears it's perfect.

good product, fair price, have used these before, work very well. Over a year ago I ordered 6 of these. the other day I discovered one of the six (NIB) didn't work. I ordered another one. Still good product.

These are my go to servos on airplanes that would normally use standard servos. They have great torque, speed, light weight and great quality. I’ve never had one fail and I’ve used them for years on many different mid-sized airplanes glow and electric.

It was exactly what I needed.

I discovered it works best in analog not digital or high frequency receivers, metal gears works fantastic.

I have installed these servos on two of my larger jets. They do not chatter like some of the HK metal gear servos and they respond very well under high wind load conditions. They are too heavy for small planes but they are worth the price for anything over 25 oz.

The item was fine. The super slow shipping caused me to miss weeks of flying my model that I bought these for. I was originally told 5 days, not several weeks.

Imagine a servo this size with all the punch and speed of a high end standard size servo. These are highly sought after for a reason.
