WD_BLACK 2TB SN770 NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive - Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, Up to 5,150 MB/s - WDS200T3X0E - [Previous Generation]

The WD_BLACK 1TB SN770 NVMe SSD has been an awesome upgrade for my gaming rig! Installation was super easy — just slot it into the M.2 port and it was recognized instantly. The performance boost is real — game load times are noticeably faster, and everything feels more responsive overall. The 1TB capacity gives me plenty of room for large AAA games, and the SSD stays cool and stable even during long play sessions. It’s a high-quality, reliable drive that feels like a big step up from SATA drives or older NVMe models. If you’re looking to speed up your system and shorten load times without breaking the bank, this WD_BLACK SSD is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

This SSD completely transformed my PC! The speed improvement is insane compared to my old hard drive. Boot times are almost instant, games load significantly faster, and file transfers are lightning quick. If you're upgrading from a traditional HDD or even an older SATA SSD, the difference is night and day. Compatibility & Fit Before purchasing, make sure your motherboard supports NVMe SSDs. This drive is PCIe Gen4, but it also works with PCIe Gen3 systems (though at slightly lower speeds). I installed it in a Gen3 slot, and it still ran way faster than my previous SSD. Fits perfectly in my M.2 slot, but just a reminder—it does NOT come with a mounting screw, so check if your motherboard already has one. ✔ Works great on PCIe Gen3 and Gen4 systems. ✔ Slim & compact M.2 form factor – perfect fit! ✔ Compatible with most modern motherboards & laptops. ✖ Does NOT come with a mounting screw—have one ready! Format Capability Out of the box, it needs to be formatted before use. If you're installing it as a secondary drive, go to Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (Mac) to initialize and format it. If you're using it for a fresh OS install, it works great once formatted through the installer. No issues detected! Final Thoughts – Perfect for Any PC Upgrade! If you're looking for a fast, reliable, and easy-to-install SSD, this is one of the best options out there. Whether you're gaming, editing, or just need a blazing-fast system, this drive is worth every penny! Just remember to check compatibility, get a mounting screw if needed, and format it before use!

Plenty of space for me, had no trouble installing or using over a few months time

I ordered 2 of the WD Black 770's each 1 TB, and 2 ACASIS Thunderbolt 3-4 enclosures, along with the supplied Thunderbolt 3-4 cables. I'm running on a 2019 iMac, 13.5 (beta) Ventura, 1 WD Black as a "startup" drive, the other as a backup with a 1 TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD as an internal drive as a secondary Backup, really slow compared to the 2 externals. The speeds as a startup are off the charts for an aging iMac, using Carbon Copy Cloner for my backups, 200 GB in just over 2 minutes, amazing speeds, everything is so much faster. I looked at other NVMEs but settled on the 770s, it was a great purchase, and I highly recommend these WD Black 770's NVME's . Granted sustained writes tend to fall off as expected, reads rarely drop off. The Black Majic tests were run over a 10min period, a 2 GB stress. If you're looking to speed up an aging iMac with Thunderbolt 3 ports and without taking it apart (risky business but can be done) to do an internal NVME, this is your ticket! Speed Tests say it all, for a 2019 iMac that's fast! Also, I highly recommend the ACASIS 40Gbps M.2 NVME Thunderbolt enclosures. A little pricey but well worth the investment. As a footnote, the "NVME Heatsink with Nano pads and Copper Heatsink from SGTKJSJS" (at $10 it's a great deal) installed on the drives rarely do they get warm to the touch maybe 50 ˚C. After a little trial and error, and some fiddling getting everything to the right height in the cases, once there you're good to go.

This was an awesome purchase. I am all about upgrading my things to make them last longer and this did just that. I need more storage on my laptop and instead of buying a new laptop, I bought this and installed myself. Great purchase and this along with a replacement battery made my laptop new again. 10/10 would recommend.

Decent but, they could definitely do better in price and performance especially when this is typically geared towards gaming. Randomly will disconnect from my laptop while in use and for some reason I have to restart my laptop, open bios, save and exit, then start my laptop up again for it to re-register on my laptop. Scares me because how much data I have saved on hear. Ironically I have had HDD's last longer and more reliably than this 😬 for the price I paid, I feel a credit should be due to me. The lifespan may be runing it's corse for me after about 3 years 🤯 which is very very very very bad👎 I had no compatibility issues and the drive quality seemed like it was up to par. Don't be quick to judge a hard drive by it's name or look. The speed feel slighlty better than the older style sdd but for the most part it's still working.

No problems as of yet! Super fast, super reliable. Loading times went down as my storage space went up. Installation was nice and easy!

its ssd. its good and reliable. better than hdd

Overall, the disk is ok, but it overheats extremely. The temperature on the controller reached over 70°C, causing thermal throttling. I had to add a heatsink and a fan to it. Now it is working fine.

Vale muito a pena investir nessa marca, muito boa!!

🔩 Note finale : 4,5/5. Performant et rentable, mais pensez à refroidir.
