What you see is exactly what you get. There are two transparent sheets to keep notes/cards & such separated. Writing on the mat is very comfortable and love being able to use it as a mouse pad as well. Regular mouse pads don't have the function of being an organizer as well. They also are hard to clean and you end up just throwing them away. This is plastic type sheets so you can just wipe them off. True, traditional mouse pads are cheap but it a hassle having to buy a new one all the time. Since this mat can be cleaned, I don't see having to ever buy a replacement unless this one becomes torn. Of course, I did end up buying another one because I originally purchased this mat for work and loved it so much I purchased one for home use. There are a few reviews that said the transparent sheets was crinkled and probably should have been packages better. I don't believe it should reflect in the reviews since this is fulfilled by Amazon. You also have the option to request a replacement.

I needed a new mouse pad and when I saw this one I decided to try it. I am so glad that I did because I love it. It is the perfect fit for work & home. I put my important notes in it and it is so handy. Beware though do not put a hot mug on it for it will warp the plastic covering. Over all this is a great product and I will recommend it! FYI: I did purchase another one because I loved it so much.

Two-month update - Some quality issues. I have tried to move away from sticky notes and just cannot... now I have them incorporated into my mouse pad... all in one neat location and I can migrate to a lower waste solution (I am now cutting up envelopes from people who still send me paper and using those for my notes. The pad is a tab bigger than an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper so can hold a piece of paper too. The bottom has a ruler in centimeters. The mouse pad works well as a mouse pad. I like the size. The pad did some air in it when I first received it which scared me a bit... but I just pressed the air out and all was well. Two month update: Still love the mousepad.

I love this thing. So handy for notes that I reference frequently or reminders. There are corners to tuck the plastic sheets into and they popped off immediately. I don’t miss them. Still love this thing.

I like the item size, that's why I bought it! I appreciate the foam backing, which prevents the mat from sliding around. I like everything except the tabs that hold the corners in place. Those flimsy tabs came off literally the first day I used the pad. They are supposed to be fused to the plastic edge. That's really the only disappointing thing about this mat; otherwise, the size and price are just right. It is clear and easy to clean.

Love this - I'm a teacher, and this is a great place for all of the tiny notes I write to myself throughout the day - they never get lost! I don't really use each individual line, because I don't have post-its that small at the moment, but I use the columns for the to-do priorities with 2x2 post-its. Very pleased - helps keep my desk and my brain organized, and I don't lose all those tiny important reminders!

The top sheet is a smooth surface for an optical mouse. It's easy to glide the mouse without much effort. Most of the desk pads are cushioned and make it difficult to move the mouse. PLUS, the sheets under the top sheet allow post it notes and other info to be kept at my fingertips! I already bought 2. They would make a great gift!

I love post-it notes and this allows me to save space by putting my notes under my mouse. My notes are protected and where I can see them all the time. A definite must have for any office.

Aunque si es funcional, el mio llegó abierto de un costado y la vdd la relacion costo/beneficio, no vale los $500 (pesos mexicanos), muy caro para tan feo material. Ademas tardó mucho más de la fecha establecida. :(
