This is the best natural food since sliced bread! Kidding about bread but I am extremely particular for the type of food I purchased for our two senior citizen / extremely healthy male cats. They are so excited about the minced beef - I cant get over it. Thanks so much

This food came highly recommended, so I got the variety pack 5.5 oz cans to test out. We've only had 1 of the cans so far, split between 4 cats as an evening treat when it was delivered. Even the can seems high quality, it was actually a little tough to open, but seemed that the food slid out better than other cans. The consistency was a little unexpected, a pate with a gel on the top. While I sometimes feel my cats don't like pate, It is easiest to split among several cats than others where you can't really see how much you are scooping out. They didn't inhale it like I thought, but seemed engaged in chomping away and taking their time with it. Which I also like, as it seemed to keep them from eating too fast - I feel it is the food, being that it is a thicker consistency than even the other pate food I've been using. They also didn't lick the bowls clean initially, but over the evening it was all eaten - and each cat seemed to eat a good serving - I have two cats that are pretty picky and will walk away - so I hope the same for the other cans. I do have a cat who's had crystals, so I use RX and otc UT specific foods, I like that this has high hydration levels, that will be good to add to my rotation bc the RX food is $$$ While I was looking for the 5.5 oz (as I split cans between 3 cats), but I'm not sure I will, or I'll use it when I split between 4 cats bc I fear it may be too filling and I don't want to waste anything.

Finally, a quality wet food that my cats will eat! I was hesitant to try this brand due to the childish labeling. My cats eat a premium dry food with no problem, but we had yet to find a quality wet food that they would actually eat. I couldn’t tell you how much canned food I’ve thrown out and donated at this point. Until now, they would only eat Sheba or Meow Mix wet. I felt guilty every time I fed it to them knowing it’s the bottom of the barrel nutritionally. My older cat is the most picky and ate an entire serving as soon as I set it in front of him. Usually he would sniff, walk away and then come back later to eat. He does seem to be more satiated with this brand as well. On a whim, I decided to order 2 variety packs of Weruva. One in 3oz cans, one in 3ox pouches. They LOVE every flavor. Every one! I’m stunned and thrilled. Yes, it’s a little spendy, but you get what you pay for. All things considered, it’s worth it in the end. I like the cans a little better than the pouches. I find it’s easier to scrape out a can than a pouch. The cats like both. They seems to really love the gravies. But hey, I’m just here to serve them. ;-)

TL;DR - Strong odor, good taste, high in water content. Able to deliver medicine without forcing it down throat. 10/10 My kitty contracted megacolon, where the intestines can no longer naturally work, creating life threatening bowel obstructions, requiring regular liquid medicine. I was not going to traumatize and put her in danger by forcing it down her throat. So after trying many ways, she settled on salt free tuna juice to mix the medicine in. I eventually moved to mixing Churu liquid treats for delivering her medicine. Much healthier than tuna juice. Goal 1 done. BUT, the most important part was shifting her to a wet food diet only, with nothing that has grain in it or Carrageenan. I tried all sorts of brands, except the cheap ones. Spending HUNDREDS finding something she would eat with no coaxing or finger feeding her for a hour. I found Weruva in a smaller pet store, and gave it a go. I bought the Chicken, Duck & Turkey Pate, which is rather pungent. It took some time mixing it into her water to slowly transition her from dry food. But she eventually stopped eating dry food in favor of Weruva's taste and smell. Goal 2 completed, second medicine easily mixed in with some water. Afterwards she became stable, able to eat and pass waste. That was about 8 years ago, which is incredible with her condition. She is around 15 and still has the energy of a younger cat. I recommend, 10/10 customer for life.

Well my cat's absolutely hated this food. I mean they would not touch it. Five out of five cats sniffed it and walked away from it. I put it outside for the wildlife which unfortunately does include a fair amount of feral cats. They typically everything. When I got up this morning, 70 percent of this food is still there. I don't think this is a bad batch. I used to buy this brand quite often, but over time my cats stopped eating. I have gone back from time to time and giving it more chances, but they've never eaten at any of the flavors that I've purchased. This brand is too expensive for me to be wasting my money. And the last five times I've purchased any of their products, most my cats won't eat it and I ended up putting it outside. I feed these feral cats, but I can't afford to feed them food this expensive especially when it is not even eaten.

Normally, our cat really likes this food. However, we had some cans of Tuna & Chicken that looked like soup, smelled rotten, and the cat refused to eat it. We believe it is spoiled, contaminated, or in some other way gone bad. The first can we just thought he didn't like that flavor anymore, but noticed a horrific odor. We thought it was just one can. But, tonight, another can of that same flavor was bad in the same way. Even though the expiration is 2.5 years away, we threw out all of the Tuna & Chicken to make sure he didn't get sick on the food.

My cat is the pickiest cat on the planet but she seems to love this food a lot the ingredients are good healthy and natural It is a little pricey but you do get larger cans It is like real food it looks good it's easy just to dump into the bowl does not cause a lot of mess or sloppiness I usually split a can in half for my cat half in the morning half in the evening It is a better alternative to some of the cheaper foods even though it is a little pricey it's definitely worth it and I love that it's family-owned

The cats really love it. I have been buying science diet wet pate for years but they always leave some even with small portions, because they really don’t enjoy it; however the vet recommended it so I kept trying. It got just to expensive to waste so someone recommended Weruva as being similar high quality but more palatable for picky eaters. They ate it all - no waste. It’s also very expensive, but so is waste. Highly recommended.

My cat loves it but the cans are too small for the money. I thought I was saving with buying online but the cans are much smaller than what I regularly buy so I don't think I'm saving. However very good product.

Our cats are undecided on this food but had no choice since my usual is out of stock. I'm pretty disappointed. They smell it and walk away.

My cats love the food and I get the peace of mind of feeding them food crafted with their best interest in mind. HOWEVER, Amazon is significantly more expensive than other authorized retailers for Weruva — highly recommend buying this elsewhere.
