Living Room Bedroom Kitchen Porch or Balcony 52 In Solid Wood Ceiling Fans 52 In Flush Mount Ceiling Fan 52 In Modern Ceiling Fans 60 In Wood Ceiling Fan New Model Ceiling Fan Review: Replacement fan is much better (upgraded from 2 stars) - This is an update to my original review which I have updated again due to a battery problem with the remote. The first fan developed a bearing noise within the return window so I requested a direct replacement from desertcart. What a difference! Sofucor must source this item from a number of manufacturers as these were very different fans. The new wood blades were not countersunk and the attaching bolts were long enough as-is (photo attached). The remote and receiver were different. The new model is reversible (which is what I expected from the first fan shipped) and the remote looks completely different (photo attached). It also uses a special A23 battery instead of two AAAs (the included 23A battery lasted only a few uses twice now so I've asked the manufacturer to replace just the remote - in the mean time, I am removing the battery when not using it). Another extremely positive point is that if the fan is turned off at the wall switch, it returns to its last setting when power is restored. This means if an overnight power outage occurs, you won't have a ceiling fan light come on unexpectedly. I have no idea how to tell in advance that you will get the better engineered fan. The new one had a sticker Zhongshan Kebaishi Electric Appliance Company on the motor housing (photo attached) which the original did not have. I did communicate my issues with the company. Having learned from my first installation, I assembled the fan on the ground rather than working vertically (photo attached). The printed installation manual was a bit easier to read BUT still differs from the physical fan design. The wiring is different from the first fan but all wires were clearly labeled and the diagram at the back of the manual is easy to follow. I also shared an idea that the short screws for the light fixture make it very difficult to line up the light with the bottom of the fan properly. I found a long version of the same thread in my miscellaneous screw bucket and cut the head off so that it when I slid the light fixture over it and centered the center opening on the fan, the other 2 screws lined up and could be inserted. I then removed my longer screw and finished with the 3rd screw for the light (photo attached). So far I am very happy with this fan. === Original review text follows: The fan is very stylish and runs quietly but the installation was a pain. First, the written instructions use the smallest possible typeface and do not match the installation video either which is animated and equally confusing. The instructions only cover the longer down pole (aka the suspender) which leaves ample room to work. The shorter down pole is much tighter. It isn't clear but don't forget to slip on the magnetic Canopy Cover between the Canopy and the Coupling Cover. The video shows installing the blades before wiring the fan but this would make wiring later much more difficult. Speaking of the blades, they come counterbored with a 1/2" wide circle to recess the bolts and washers. They are not drilled out to a consistent depth. This along with barely long enough bolts means 3 of the 6 bolts will not thread into the motor mount. I carefully used a 1/2" wood drill to slightly deepen the recess but for 1 bolt I had to leave off the washer. The bolts barely clear the top of the blade by 1/8" and should be longer. At least these slight modifications did not cause the fan to wobble which is really good as the generic wobble correction kit and instructions suggest bending the blade mount which is not something that can be done with this style blade. The instructions also show the LED lamp having 2 separate wires and not the plug used now. It is hard to fit but the clip for the plug does face downward. Push the extra wire upward to get the plug enough room to clip in. If it hadn't taken so long to put this up, I would return it but it is working well at this point with a comfortable airflow on Medium. If you turn the fan off at the wall switch it will start up next with the fan off and the light on. I guess the intent is to only use the remote control. When you do start the fan, it starts up in high briefly before switching down to the selected slower speed. I blame myself for looking at too many propeller style fans on desertcart but this one does not reverse direction for winter use. There is not a switch on the side of the motor and the unlabeled button on the remote doesn't do it either. Review: Great ceiling fans - After almost a year of use I'm still loving this fan. It is super quiet, air flow is so much better than the older ones I had, they are stylish, the controls are simple to use, the lights are very bright but they don't blind you. They are solid feeling and looking. So glad I got them.

Excellent fan and customer service
Great product, looks great, quiet and easy to install. The only issue is after 3 yrs, the remote receiver in the ceiling fan housing stopped working, making the fan not work. I reached out to their customer support and they promptly responded via email and shipped a new receiver and remote within a week. I replaced it in about 15 mins and the fan is back to working like new. Excellent customer service! I'm

Great Quality Fan — Looks Amazing & Works Even Better!
Really happy with this fan! It looks super clean and modern, and the wood blades give it a nice touch of warmth without looking bulky or old-fashioned. Feels like a perfect mix of style and function. Installation was pretty easy — instructions were clear and everything went together nicely. The remote control is super handy, and I love being able to control both the fan speeds and the light without having to get up. Best part? It’s incredibly quiet. Even on the higher speeds, there’s barely any sound, which makes it perfect for bedrooms or spaces where you want that peaceful vibe. Airflow is excellent, the light is bright but not harsh, and overall it just feels like a really well-made fan. Definitely recommend if you want something that looks great and performs even better!

New fan but came with a used, dirty remote control-Update
UPDATE - seller arranged to send a replacement remote. Very responsive customer service!! This is my 3rd Sofucor fan - I just had it installed today. The fan looks good, and runs well, but it came with a visibly used, dirty, discolored remote control. Our handyman had already installed the fan, when he pulled out the remote to sync with the fan. He said it looked like it had been sitting in the sun for some time to be so yellow. I compared it with the remotes for the other 2 Sofucor fans previously installed. All 3 remotes are different models - the oldest fan remote is the only one that matches the picture in the instruction manual. I never noticed that the remotes were different! After over an hour with Amazon customer service, they referred me to the manufacturer. Hopefully, they can send me a new remote and receiver since this is the only way to operate the fan. If I they do send me a replacement, I'll have to pay our handyman to come back to switch out the receiver, which is annoying for a new fan. I'm happy with the quality of the other 2 Sofucor fans - they look so nice and run silently.

A frustrating item
I don't know whether I am the lucky one, or this product is bogus for everybody! The delivery was great. I opened the package and started putting all the parts out for the easy assembly they promised me. It has been one headache after another to put it together. My biggest complaint is there was no instructions to help. I went online and everything I checked into there.had nothing to do with the particular fan I bought. So no instruction, you have to guess. During my guessing process, I find that it was missing three screws that I need in order to connect the lamp to the fan. This has not been a twenty minute experience! I am into my second day now.And I still do not have a fan installed. fast forward tw days.... I had to cut many of the wires down and splice them in order to make the remote box fit into the top housing. Then I find, after several attempts, that the holes for the housing screws do not align and are about 1/4 inch off center and cannot attach the screws.... I feel I threw $128 in the trash as that was my final solution.... GOOD LUCK if you buy this product. 1 star is too good for it!

Beautiful upgrade
I think the installation cost more than the fan, but I LOVE it. The light and the speeds are easily changed with the remote. It replaced a standard bulky older white fan with a white glass lens over the light. The change makes a huge difference in the ambiance of the room, and the high speed was great to circulate the air in the guest room before anyone arrived.

Not the easiest installation
I bought two of these fans, one for my office and one for my family room, because I really liked the airplane propeller look of them. I also bought two other fans around the same time. This was to replace four fans that had been in my house for 19 years. I’m no electrician, but I’m very competent in installing ceiling fans. This fan was much more difficult to install than the other fans I have installed, and honestly it is the most unbalanced fan I have ever installed upon initial installation. Listen, it is not like this fan is not extremely difficult to install, but compared to the other fans I have installed it has been the most difficult. It started with trying to mount the bracket to the junction box in the ceiling. Since I was replacing a previous fan all I had to do was add the bracket to the existing junction box. The problem started with the screw heads being too small, and even when adding the included washers they slipped right though the bracket slits. So I had to go to the hardware store to find washers that were small enough to fit the screw, but large enough to make sure the bracket didn’t slip over the screw head. The second issue I had is that most fans I have installed can be almost completely assembled before hanging them, and then you basically just hang them from the bracket, wire them, put the cover on them, and attach the lights. This one required a lot of overhead installation, including attaching the fan blades, which was pretty difficult. What I do like about the fan is the different tones of the light that are available. A lot of fans basically just have the bright and cool white color LEDs, this one also has a warm colored LED which is my preference on fans. I also like the look of the blades even though they were difficult to install. I do not like the look of the down rod, and I really wish there were a flush mount version of this fan that put it closer to the ceiling. However, for that to happen they would have to make it so the fan was able to be assembled before hanging it from the bracket. Yes, I do know they have one that they call flushmount, but from what I can see it is basically the same fan, but they have a sheath that covers the down rod. Ultimately I returned the second fan that I bought because I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of installing it. To be clear the assembly of the fan wasn’t really difficult other than having to do it over head. Maybe if I wasn’t installing it myself it would have been easier, but the lack of the proper parts to attach it to the junction box and the overhead assembly made it not worth installing the second one.

Great quality for price
Has so many features it dims. It has three different light sources. The fan is awesome. Just a great product overall.

Decent ceiling fan
Looks good, works smoothly, no annoying beeping sound when turning on/off. Small problem when installing the fan blades: the screws wouldn't go in because of paint or burs on the hole threads, I'm not sure. I had to rethread the holes with a hole threading kit (easy but you need the tool to do it). I had other questions about the installation and contacted Sofucor by email, they replied quickly and were very helpful.
