Why dont the picture move to horizontal on the adjustments ?

I found some of the blocks were very tricky to position the photo just right. Sorry, I know this doesn’t help I just had to keep playing around with it. I closed my project out a few times and started over.

Can I apply clear coat to make it last longer?

That I’m not sure of. I’ve had mine for at least 6 months I believe and have had no issues with tears or fading.
