This cooler was one of the best in a comparison test. It keeps items cold for a really long time if you follow the directions. The seal and latches work well and the handles are more comfortable than many competitors. It is built very solid and holds up well in the back of a truck. The cooler is great holds ice longer and I love the color. I also bought the 2 cooler shock and it keeps food and drinks ice cold. Would definitely recommend this cooler!

I bought this to use when I go camping with my travel trailer. I don't run the fridge on propane while driving as I have extended daily drives around 10 hours at a time so I couldn't leave the items that need to stay cold in the fridge as they would spoil. This cooler did great at maintaining the ice that I started off with for four days and I am thrilled with that. The rope handles and ability to grab around each side of the cooler make lifting and carrying easy. The dual drain plugs work great to dump the water when you're done. I also like that the lid stays open unlike a Coleman unit that I have that won't stay open. I've not experience any leaking, always a plus! My only real gripe with this unit is that I wish that it came with storage baskets for the top that I had to buy separately. The ability to segregate your items and keep them dry up top is very handy. I used it to store lunch meats, cheeses and condiments to be able to easily pull the basket out and make lunch while at a rest area. I would have gladly paid a little more for that convenience if Rtic had offered it. Great unit and worth the price compared to others currently available.

Product is as advertised. Very durable and also lightweight compared to other coolers . Holds ice as advertised. Would buy again.

This cooler is great! Took this for the first time camping. Put ice in Friday morning, still had ICE in it Monday evening and into Tuesday. Quality is great and functional. Love the built in drain and bottle opener. 4/5 stars because the inside is slightly smaller than you'd expect when looking how big it is, but nothing drastic. Also 1 star off because of price. You get what you pay for, and I'm still pleased I purchased this, but a cooler still shouldn't ever be this damn expensive IMO.

Outstanding! Looks great and stays crazy cold! Threw some Ice Packs, beverages, and food in this and headed out on the boat in 85 degree weather on a Saturday morning. By noon the water bottles were freezing and my N/A beer had ice crystals in it. 😮 Left the cooler in the boat overnight and headed out again on Sunday, ice packs still frozen solid and kept everything cold again for another day on the water. Really happy with the purchase.

It's been a lifesaver over that time. I live in my truck, so I use this every day. The build quality is top notch. I modified it with some of those furniture sliders to make it easier to slide around my truck bed, and also got the divider for it. In the recent heat we've been getting - 90°+F - it's been keeping things cool for nearly three days when filled with ice. Note that the quality of your ice greatly effects how long it will last - dense pellet ice will last a lot longer than thin chip ice you get from ice machines. Even with shitty ice, I get close to three days in that heat, and that's with the cooler sitting in my truck bed (covered) 24/7.
