Items are okay and well made but it just feels like it's a bit expensive for what it is

Have not had the chance to use this properlt yet but have attached the rope to the bag and weight and have had a few throws and it works a treat. Just need to get a little more accurate with it. Much better quality than ones I have had in the past.

I'm not a tree professional but own and manage a woodland so need to make use of various kit that the pros use. Using ropes and rigging is one aspect and having a proper throwline is pretty handy for getting up into high branches or limbs. Being a Stein kit one expects quality and it is, coming with a storage pouch with 50m of nylon line and a 280g weight. That said at £40 or so it seems high for what you get. Using it is pretty easy and being a former cricket player, the weight is a little more than a cricket ball so easy enough to get some height on it ensuring that the line is free to unravel as it goes. Overall a useful addition and essential for arborists if not other uses.
