LiquitexBASICS Gloss Fluid Medium, 250ml (8.4oz) Bottle

Good medium for acrylic paint. I was surprised how much I had to use to achieve a "shiny" effect once the paint dried. I was using it to touch up an old painting so I had to test the paint to medium ratio in order to match the original luster of the painting.

Gives flat and satin finishes that extra shine, light gloss finish that reflect stain and protects from moisture damage.

I wish they were a little cheaper but you really do get what you pay for, great products!

I use it to extend paint. It makes paint transparent when you add enough. It speeds dry time and makes a tough finish. I've used it as a protectant finish over a piece, but it is not removable like a varnish. This means you can decide to go back and add another layer or detail to the painting.

Hooray for Liquitex! I'm new to dot painting and have been using water to thin my paints. I've learned this causes cracking sometimes, so I thought I'd try Liquitex out. What a difference! No cracking, my paints look better and are much easier to use now, consistency wise. Good stuff! Will buy again!

I entirely need more of this. I use it for my pour paints and to varnish them. Love love love this stuff!!

I honestly believe it helps promote big cells and with the right paint a masterpiece! This is a honest to goodness great buy!
