Will this damage the surface it’s stuck to if it comes unstuck?

It has pretty strong adhesive I doubt it'll come unstuck but it depends what is stuck to I put fabric on it it's not going to damage fabric if it comes unstuck

I think it would work nicely for that application. It would definitely add insulation compared to a bare wood shelter.

Very sticky, was nice to find the exact width and thickness I needed

I used it to insulate under a new laundry tub, really quieted the sound and made the rub bottom and sides more stable. The tub was thin plastic and flexible before, after if feels more solid when using the tub, and it is also quieter. Very sticky, so cut and position first, then remove an edge and peel back the paper while pushing down the foam into place. Satisfied!
