Order your own batteries
I love this, but out of the box, the batteries it came with were low, so the keypad lit up, but wouldn’t connect. I thought it was a bad keypad and then day of being frustrated, I swapped the batteries and it works great now. So if you’re have connectivity issues, try new batteries. This a quicker way then waiting on my phone to connect and going inside. I know we are only talking 5-10 secs sometimes, but sometimes my phone is difficult and won’t connect also. The keypad is always connected and instantly opens the door once you enter the code and hit the check. It’s great.

Lock was unreliable
Love love love this concept. Straightforward installation. No ugly r key code box on the door. However, I tried everything I could to make it work, but could not depend on the lock to always unlock or lock. The error that I received was that it was not in range, even though the users were only two feet away. It would work 5 out of 10 times when testing, then work 9 times strait and then fail. The manufacturer customer service could not have been nicer, but none of their solutions worked and then kept it working. It would do this in all different kinds of weather. No obvious reasons for problem. Tried enlarging apertures for the door side AND the jamb side, tried different phones to operate the Bluetooth, even a new battery but after 3 months, I am giving up. Unfortunately, it’s past the return date, so I expect am stuck with it. I have contacted manufacturer for an exchange, in the event that I have a one-off defective lock. I will write a follow up if they take care of me.

Perfect!
I've had this installed for about two weeks now. So far it has worked flawlessly. Installation and setup was a complete breeze. It paired with my Level Lock immediately. It's very nice to be able to closed the door and lock it with a single touch on the checkmark on the touchpad instead of messing with a key or using my phone. Very handy and stylish looking too. Very pleased with this purchase.

Essential accessory to a premium system
I recently bought the Level Smart Lock for my house, and while it pretty much comes with everything you would need for access (key cards, physical key, and virtual key through the app via BT), my family had become accustomed to using a key pad from our last lock so we opted to pick up the keypad. Man this thing is clean and easy to set up. You just connect it via BT and register the device with your Level app and it works in a 25 ft range just like the app would. Simple to set a code, plus you can set permanent or expiring codes for guests, house cleaners, etc. Mounts with double sided tape to any surface. This is a no-brainer purchase for anyone with the Level system looking to add even more convenience to an already near-perfect smart lock system. Pros: -Clean and minimal aesthetic -Easy to use and setup -Universal mount -Long range Cons: -ZERO

Works 50% of the time.
I'm working on contacting the company for a warranty replacement. I've have had the lock and keypad installed for about 6 months and since the first week of usage the key pad would work about 50% of the time. It degraded over time. Using the touch pad buttons it would act several ways. 1. You get through entering the code and touch the check button and the check button lights up and fades on an off a few times, then nothing happens. Have to take the remote off the wall and take the batteries out to reset the unit. 2. First digit press it acts fine, second digit press it does nothing. Have to remove and reset. 3. Noes nothing. Can't tell you how many sets of batteries I have switched out thinking it just eats through them. I finally started checking the batteries after such an incident and they are charged all the way. In the end, I think my key pad is bad of course but I have to try and get it replaced and see how the next one does. When it was working I disliked the touch sensitive buttons. It is slow to respond and so makes you think you have not pressed the number an so you double touch, messing up the sequence. It is also very difficult to remove from its mount to change out the batteries. This may be designed this way on purpose but I see the units base breaking over time.

Not worth it if you are in a cold zone.
Beware, not for you if you live in a cold climate! Was excited to add this to my level system but expectations fell short. Build quality is of decent plastic like everything else and holds up. When it works, it is very easy to set up always/temporary codes within the app. Bluetooth is iffy on most days, constantly loses connection to both lock and level connect device. Even using your phone or connect bridge is slow to respond. Claims to work down to -20 degs but doesn’t work below 30 degs on a good sunny day. I have to constantly forget device and re-add to account. When it does work it is slow for the code to register and then may open or stop mid operation. Battery life is good but that depends on if it registers that it even has a battery installed, often see battery health unknown status. I am on my third device after only a couple years of owning and having to send a video to prove every time to get support is ridiculous. It will randomly start to work again after pulling out the battery for a few seconds or I warming it up for 20 secs. Otherwise support is usually responsive to inquiries but not worth the price for the headaches.

Not weatherproof.
We had this installed in a porch area where it did not get any direct rain, just some occasional indirect rain if it was really windy. After a year it stopped working due to water entry and corrosion. It ought to be able to work outside, since that's where it going to be in 99% of cases. My garage door keypad has been outside for 20 years and still works fine.

Overall Happy with Some Caveats
My new home already had a level deadbolt. I added the keypad so I could give an entry code to anybody without them having to have the Level app. It was pretty easy to install and set up and has been working fine for 2 months. I even use it myself when I go for a walk and don't want to carry a key. Overall I am happy with it. The lack of touch response is weird. When I give someone the code I warn them about it. I also tell them to press each number deliberately and separately, not fast like they're texting. I found that having double numbers in a code compounds the problem. So now I'm very specific and tell ppl how to press each number and lift their finger off before pressing it a second time, and I verbally model a very slow sequence of pressing keys. Which is pretty weird in this high tech era. I wish there were letters as wells as numbers on the keypad because I like to remember codes with words, or be able to tell someone the code is "turkey" or whatever. I had to call customer service because I put the bracket on the keypad before installing and then I couldn't get it off to actually do the installation. I searched for the answer unsuccessfully. So that's irritating, that I had to call customer service for a simple step, a step you need in fact when you need to change the battery. Just so you'll know, there's a tiny notch in the keypad cover to put a paper clip in to release the 2 parts.

Finicky as . . . “heck”
I managed to get it to pair with the lock after some fiddling with it. I constantly was saying that I need to be “in range”. This was when I was less than a foot away. Still cant change the code because it keeps saying that “You will have full access to settings when you are within Bluetooth range”. Again, this is when I’m a foot away.
