MUSICOZY Bluetooth 5.4 Module for Sleep Headphones Replacement

I really wanted to like these, because when they work, they’re genuinely great. The sleep mask is comfortable, and the audio quality is surprisingly good for something like this. For falling asleep to music or white noise, they do exactly what you’d want. But the problem is durability, and it’s a big one. The wiring inside is extremely thin and fragile, especially where the wire meets the charging port and internal connections. With completely normal use, those points wear out fast. In my case, the wires failed after a short time, and there’s no realistic way to repair them. The components are too small and delicate to fix without specialized tools, and even then it’s not practical. It feels like the product is designed in a way that just won’t last more than a month or two with regular use. Once it breaks, your only real option is to replace the entire unit or try to find a compatible replacement module, which isn’t always easy. That’s the frustrating part. The concept is great, and when it works, it works well. But the build quality doesn’t match the idea. If these were made with slightly more durable wiring and better strain relief, they’d easily be a solid product. As it stands, just be aware you may be replacing them sooner than expected. After my review, the company reached out to ask about the condition of the product and the damage I experienced. Considering how long ago I purchased the item, I was surprised and appreciative that they took the time to contact me and offer assistance. The representative I spoke with was extremely helpful, understanding, and easy to work with. After requesting a few photos showing the damaged wiring, they reviewed everything and quickly offered a replacement. They also discussed refund options if needed. My original concerns about the durability of the product are still valid based on my experience, but I believe good customer service deserves recognition. It's not every day a company stands behind its product this long after a purchase. Thanks to their help, my wife will be able to enjoy using her sleep mask headphones again, and we're very grateful for that.

This little set-up meant I didn't have to replace my whole sleep mask and saved me about 50%. The original sound unit was micro USB and the tiny tongue piece broke off and became unchargeable. This one is USB-C, so it's compatible with all our cords and that won't happen again. It was a bit snug getting it into the mask, but once in, there wasn't a single glitch. If I run into any issues I'll update my review.

Used this to replace the module in my older musicozy mask. The sound is better, but I'm taking a star off due to no charging cable being included. There is a usb micro port on top of the module for charging.

This has been my go to headset for good nights rest! Their customer service is excellent!

When the device works, it is a helpful product. I like falling asleep to sound connected to my phone. But I ordered this as a replacement for the first module that came with mask, and now the replacement has a broken charging wire and won't recharge. The quality of the cords is low, they breaks easily and must be replaced annually.
