TEKTON 7655 Ladder Hooks, Ceiling Mount, 2-Piece

These have many more uses than for just ladders. I have a wall-mount Shop-Vac cleaner in my garage and the supplied hook for the machine wasn't adequate for the long hose. I purchased the Tekton Ladder Hooks to hold the vacuum hose coil and it works great. I would recommend this for organizing many things in your garage.

These hooks feel solid. I use them to hang hedge trimmers when they not in use. Red non-slip coating both protects the handles of the trimmers and keeps exactly where I put them. Each hook has a 25-pound capacity and requires a 5/32-Inch diameter pilot hole to mount. Used these to hang my ladder from the ceiling of my garage. Works great. Make sure to get them in a stud. Some reviews said they pulled out, and I don't see how that is possible if there were in a stud. Because mine hold on insanely tight.

I violated some sort of prime directive and I mounted these hooks on a wall and not a ceiling. I could tell that they were not at all happy with me. Despite my hubris these hooks have not uninstalled themselves and they are continuing to hold things up and out of the grips of old man gravity.

Using these in the garage, so far I've used them for light use. Holding the hedge clipper in well enough. The coating is thick and even. Will update if anything new occurs. I would recommend.....

My husband got these to hang his ladder in our garage; he has a 10 ft orchard ladder and these hooks worked great and were easy to install. He installed the hooks on two beams of the ceiling in our garage.

I don't know what ladders these brackets are designed for, but they are not wide enough to hold any ladders I own. I am returning them.

I purchased these to hang a 35 lbs aluminum ladder in my garage. Installing the hooks was very easy. Unfortunately, when you screw the hooks into the ceiling rafters the red plastic covering twists off. Also, the packaging says each hook can hold 25 lbs (50 lbs total), but they appear to be stressed a little from the weight of my 35 lbs ladder. If you're hanging a 30+ lbs ladder I would recommend purchasing a more heavy duty hook.

Good hooks. Can't say too much more other than they did the job that I wanted them to do.
