If you don’t want to read the entire thing. Just know it’s worth the buy and does amazing things to curly/wavy damaged hair. Backstory on my hair: I had a bad bleach job done to my hair about a year ago. It cost me 5.5 inches of my hair. I slowly cut the hair off over the past year. I still have some random spots in the ends that are still damaged but mostly my hairs back to normal from that. BUT those spots that are damaged are noticeable due to my textured hair because they fall flat and straight. I’m a 2c/3a texture type. In the past year I have tried all the leave in conditioners, moisturizing hair masks, olaplex bond repairs, anything you can think of. So in rolls this curlsmith product. I try it with not much hope it’ll mend these few spots in my hair but I’m always down to try something new. First use I put it all over my hair and leave on for 1 hour. (Directions say 15 minutes minimum or up to 1 hour.) wash shampoo/condition/style like normal. I look in the mirror shocked. My curls have come to life. The shine, the definition, the bounce of my curls were unmatched. I couldn’t believe it! The second time trying it I only put it on my ends about 3.5 inches of it and did it for only 15 minutes. Still the same result! My curls came back to life and were extremely moisturized. I would say doing the hour all over my head was amazing but if you are rushing and only have the chance to do 15 minutes it’s still doing the job. It’s NOT a “dupe” of anything. This is the real deal on its own.

I have been using a lot of rebuilding/rebonding/protein treatments this year after severe heat damage and the ruin of most of my curl pattern. This was highly recommended and the first Curlsmith product I ever used. It is rather pricey, as they all are, but the ease of use and effectiveness makes it worthwhile. It was quite a bit more liquidy than I thought it would be, and I have a lot of hair, so I used quite a lot, but I would estimate I still have several uses out of this bottle. The scent is mild, inoffensive, and dissipates quickly. I could feel the improvement in not only the health of my hair but the curl pattern almost immediately. Depending on how this compares to other products, I may repurchase, however I am now very interested in other Curlsmith styling and treatment products.

COMPLETELY CHANGED MY HAIR. I LOVEEEEE this product. So much less frizz and so much more definition even after just one use. I usually never write reviews but I had to for this product. 10/10 recommend. Also smells really good and leaves my hair sooo soft.

The product made a noticeable difference on the feel of my hair. Damaged from hard water, my hair would look frizzy and brittle without product (it's bleached to a level 9, I have 3c curly hair with low porosity) . I had been using deep conditioners every week for my hair health. After not much luck, I thought I should try something different to improve my hair health, and that's when I found this product. It's not a deep conditioner, and the bad reviews claiming it didn't work are because the people tried to use it as a deep conditioner. Make sure to read the instructions on the back of the bottle. Notes: it's 8 ounces which is half a cup of product. I didn't realize how small that was until I got it. The product does its job, but for someone with thick hair and a lot of it, I wish the bottles were around 14 ounces. Being a student who doesn't want to be spending 30 some dollars a month on 1 hair product I wish there was more. If you have the money this is definitely one of the best protein treatments especially for curly hair. It doesn't ruin my curl pattern, and does a good job of making my hair look and feel healthier.

*Long review * I have always had healthy, bouncy curls. Last year I got severely ill (sepsis). The recovery process from sepsis takes a HUGE toll on your body as your organs start shutting down from sepsis. This caused a lot of issues to my skin and hair. My hair texture changed drastically. For about 3months my hair fell out in clumps (I ended up taking a prenatal which helped). This caused my hair to become thin and extremely stringy as well as a lot of frizz/hair breakage all throughout. My hair porosity is now low (it was medium). I have such a hard time wearing my natural curls now due to the appearance of my hair now (I wear a lot of loose ponytails and hats now). I read how this could help for hair breakage so I decided to try it. After 2 uses (following the directions) I have seen a difference already! I follow up with a moisturizing/clarifying shampoo and a NO protein deep conditioner (too much protein can cause over process/damahe) after rinsing this product out. I highly recommend this product if you have hair breakage or hair falling out. The car pictures are after one use. Hair is still extremely frizzy and stringy, loose, limp curls. The video and 1st picture shows just a portion of my hair breakage/hair growth (it’s all throughout the front and crown area as well as the neckline) before using this product at all. The bathroom pictures are after the 2nd use. Still frizz but not as bad. Also, curls a bit more formed and bouncy.

I was looking forward to receiving this product but I don’t think it performed like it promised. I could be using it incorrectly. Directions on how to use could include more information.

Ich färbe regelmäßig meinen Ansatz und meine Locken sind dadurch oft sehr „durstig“ nach Protein. Deshalb habe ich die Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve getestet und ich bin von der Wirkung wirklich überzeugt. Wichtig ist allerdings die korrekte Anwendung. Ich habe mich vorher eingelesen und nutze das Produkt auf zwei Arten: Nach dem Haarefärben trage ich es gleichmäßig auf feuchtes Haar auf und lasse es etwa 45 Minuten einwirken. Danach wasche ich die Haare mit Shampoo und Conditioner und mache meine Routine wie gewohnt weiter. Ansonsten verwende ich es etwa einmal pro Woche für ca. 20 Minuten auf feuchtem (nicht klatschnassem) Haar und wasche es danach ebenfalls mit Shampoo und Conditioner aus. Meine Locken haben dadurch deutlich mehr Spannkraft und fühlen sich kräftiger und strukturierter an. Für mich ist das eine der besten Proteinbehandlungen, die ich bisher probiert habe. Mein Tipp: Unbedingt vorher zur Anwendung informieren, damit man das Produkt nicht überdosiert. In der kleinen Größe kann man es aber gut testen, ohne viel Risiko einzugehen. Fazit: Sehr wirkungsvolle Protein-Kur für strapazierte Locken...bei richtiger Anwendung ein echter Gamechanger

Pak een losse haar, trek hem uit: breekt het direct? Verder ook droog en pluizig haar? Dan dit product met proteïne niet kopen. Koop de versie voor haar hydratatie met bonding. Kun je de haar ver uittrekken, een paar cm? Dan moet je dit product hebben!

I love this. I bought 3 of this to be sure if I like it. Ordered the medium size, then came across the bigger bottle at tkmaxx I purchased. That's how much I love this product, it's a stable for me

Produit formidable !! Découvert sur des sites de curlies sur Instagram, je confirme que ce produit protéiné pour cheveux remplit vraiment son rôle. Dès le 1er traitement, mes cheveux mi-longs (de nature frisée mais souvent colorés et raidis, donc abîmés) ont réagi avec plus de ressort sur les longueurs. Au bout d’1 mois à l’appliquer 1 fois que 2 (je lave mes cheveux 2 fois par semaine), la différence est flagrante, de jolies boucles se dessinent à nouveau ! Pour info, ce n’est ni un shampoing ni un leave-in. On l’applique sur cheveux mouillés AVANT le shampoing, on laisse poser 15-30 min et on procède à sa routine habituelle (shampoing, masque et/ou produits coiffants). La compo n’est pas totalement naturelle mais elle est tout à fait correcte tout de même — et mon ratio bénéfice du produit vs./ cheveux de momie est vite vu. 👍🏼👍🏼
