Great case for my Surface Duo 2. The fit is pretty decent, the grip is fantastic, installation was quick and easy, and the durability has been decent thus far. The case also helps smooth the back of the phone, making the camera bump much less noticeable. This case helped solve the 2 most significant issues I had with the phone: the difficult grip and the lack of support at the USB-C port. The phone is now very pleasant to hold, without the constant feeling of it slipping out of my hands, and it no longer feels as though a USB-C cable will break the frame if I look at it incorrectly. There's only one small complaint I have with the case, although it's so minor (to me) that I won't deduct any stars for it: I cannot fold the phone backward with the case on. The case can be modified by cutting some of the plastic to provide the hinges with the necessary space. Again, it might be a dealbreaker for others. Overall, I like the case, especially considering the limited options available for the Surface Duo 2. The quality is good, the durability is solid, and it's a good value.

I actually only needed the back cover for use in my car. I created a Phone Holder for my Surface Duo 2 using a ProClip mount with a Neodymium magnetic surface. I took the back cover of this case and placed an adhesive metal plate inside the cover and snapped the back cover onto my Surface Duo2 and it is the perfect setup for my car's center console. I think this cover is great for protection, yes but it falls short if you are looking for hinge compatibility beyond 180° unless you use the MSFT Pen Cover (which I also have on my Duo2). Then pen cover was intelligently designed and constructed to allow the phone to be folded 180° with no rear cover. There really are no good options out there for full case protection for the Duo line but I think the Pen Cover is the best of both worlds, then using the rear cover for my car is the best middle of the road option for me.

The product description as well as the pictures fail to mention that once you have this case on, you will no longer be able to fully open your Surface Duo 2 and use it with a single display at a time. Had I known that, I would not have ordered this. If that is not an issue for you, the quality of the case is nice for the price.

Doesn't work for me

I like how tight it is in the phone, but you can no longer use phone mode (you open the phone 360 degrees).

Nice looking but junk does not fit phone! In fact too small it ended up in the garbage.
