What swing speed are they designed for?

I swing about 103-105 MPH and I’m a higher flight player. These balls stay down noticeably lower and are very good around the greens. Everyone and their uncle thinks they should buy the Pro V1s. These are great if you hit a higher ball.

Is the titleist a version of the velocity?

3 layers. Don’t know there names. Check the specs

How many layers does the Titleist AVX have

Hello, AVX is a multi layer 3-piece golf ball with a solid core, casing layer and urethane cover. Hope that helps. Thanks, Titleist

Is this the correct compression of golf ball to use if your swing speed is in the mid to upper 80s?

I don't know about the scientific side of compression vs swing speed, but I swing mid 80's and I love this ball. It's my favorite. I only play them when I get them as a gift because of the cost. I just can't seem to bring myself to pay 50 plus for a dozen golf balls so I play the titlist tru feel which for the money is a great ball for my ability, but if you got the cash, you won't be disappointed, and if you play poorly with them it's not the balls fault, just saying.
